Disappointed customer I was contacted my a rep from the dealership saying that I had been approved for up to 25000.00 loan with 0 down and all I needed to do was bring in m I was contacted my a rep from the dealership saying that I had been approved for up to 25000.00 loan with 0 down and all I needed to do was bring in my id and proof of income. I spoke with the rep 4 times to confirm that when i came it was not going to be any gimics and that I had been approved without a co-signer. She verified everything and as soon as I arrived the first thing out of the sales rep mouth was i need a co-signer it was a requirement of the bank so i wasted a 2 hour trip over there and back then they only had 1 vehicle i could get and they did not seem interested in helping me get something i would like to getting a vehicle without a co-signer. I procedded to take the vehicle home and return it the next day with hopes of working out something. When i arrived my sales rep was gone for the day and I had brought someone to co-sign with me but since no one cared to follow up with me or wait for me to get there i will be taking my business elsewhere. DISHONEST, PUSHY, UNTRUSTWORTHY, UNETHICAL I received a pre-approval from an application I filled out on-line. Drove over 100 miles to visit the dealership.. Marc on used sales treated me like I was stupid... Constantly talked down to me because I was a female.. I let it slide because this was going to be my first car purchase on my own. They told me with a co-signer that I could get the car in my name. So I took the vehicle on an overnight test drive until my co-signer and I could return the next day (another 100 mile trip). When we arrived the next day they informed me that it would strictly be in my co-signers name and not mine. They were told I wanted the vehicle in my name to rebuild credit from my divorce and assured me that the car would be in my name with a co-signer. What a huge disappointment and a terrible experience. I also found out theater they used my co-signers name and social security number to add me to THEIR insurance policy. They said as long as the policy showed the same address as the co-signer for the lender that the dealership could go through. Then after the insurance print off was received that it could be removed from their policy and I could either get liability insurance or go insuranceLESS! What kind of dealership does that.... A DISHONEST AND UNTRUSTWORTHY one. More

I paid cash, so I did not deal with finance or service departments. They did have to change names on the owner information tag sheet, which was quick, bit a little inconvenient. They have average prices, sale's department are a little "Greasy," but ok friendly, and I rate this dealership average as the card sent with the request to rate the dealership is a very OLD business card with Capital Chevrolet on it. New cards can't be much to update, I would think. There is no follow-up after buying here though. Once sold, you are on your own unless you call them. Just not a business on top of customer appreciation, if you're looking for that kind of service. More

One of the main reasons I went back to ford was because chevy had 2 recalls within the past year and that did not go over well with me. Stivers was about to get my way below my interest rate I was expecting. Great customer service and quality employees. They worked with me to make sure I was happy and understood my situation clearly. I walked out of Stivers with a new car and a smile on my face. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking at getting a quality car. More

I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever , ever recommend buying a car from Stivers. They are a ignorant bunch of people, including the owner, Mr. Stivers. They have no professional skills, no decent work eithic, and specifically, no people skills. STAY AWAY FROM STIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! More

He not only worked with me but kept in touch with me to get the deal done. When I was not available he would communicate with me the best way I could, not how he could. I would recommend this dealership. I am sure others out there will disagree, but my experience was a pleasurable one. More
Absolutely do not give this place your business. Every time I called or visited I never got the same person twice. I left messages, emails, called dozens of times about purchasing a vehicle and over the course of 4 weeks was given the run around. After test driving it twice and discovering it had a problem with the gauges, it was like they refused to work with me even though they promised they would fix the issue and call back. Never called, never returned my calls. I actually saw one employee literally run away as I drove up the next visit. As if that wasn't bad enough, my boyfriend who purchased a vehicle from them within the past year received the SAME treatment while attempting to fix a problem - a problem that nobody could tell us was or wasn't covered in the warranty. And they wanted to charge $90 just to figure out if it was. This was the extent of the "help" they offered. After getting tossed around from department to department and waiting for hours to be given completely different info, we finally gave up. Customer service? What customer service? Stivers may as well give up on renovations... With this kind of atmosphere and staff attitude they're going to make a really awful name for themselves. And I'll be glad to help with that. I am outraged and will go out of my way to make sure no one I know does any business here. More
