Outstanding - Recommend make appointment I went to Service Dept. on 21 Jan 15, and made appointment to have my 1996 Toyota Avalon XLS repaired for front end problems caused during Artic Bla I went to Service Dept. on 21 Jan 15, and made appointment to have my 1996 Toyota Avalon XLS repaired for front end problems caused during Artic Blast (cold temperatures below zero). Vehicle had been serviced by prior owner 4,000 miles before, by this department for Air Conditioner. I bought vehicle through AAA club, in Oct 2012, and vehicle was a cream puff with only 98,000 miles, being garaged by prior owners entire years of use. This allowed some vulnerable parts to age and caused problems, near zero. Took vehicle back on 23 Jan for repair ASAP (death in family). CV boots cracked and leaking, power steering pump leaking, so all drive parts needed replacement. Received estimate. Repair made and some part delayed. Received vehicle back on 24th, completed and came in $300 under estimate. All service was professional, kept me advised, and very friendly. I will go back in future, and recommend them highly. Unlike some raters, with appointment, service is great, even to a follow-phone call. Their price was reasonable, with only surprise being under estimate for final cost. Even washed car and warmed it. Lady at desk was cheerful and helpful but I did not get her name. Frank W. More

The manager came out as we were inspecting the vehicle and told us that he had just traded the black one for a blue one located in Fredrick. We then decided to work with Sean and test drive a used, 2013 4Runner. Sean's attitude about dealing with us was disappointing, he made us feel like we were imposing. We went down the street to have a quick meal and wait for the blue 4Runner to arrive. We were informed that it was not coming in till the next morning. At that time we decided to take our business elsewhere. We visited Larry H. Miller Toyota Boulder and left with a new 4Runner and we were treated wonderfully. Go To Boulder! Skip Stevenson East! More

However, since I have been going back to Aurora to Stevinson East for the service all the time because they're always good and friendly, I don't have any reason to have the other dealership even try to take over, even though it might be a little closer to get there. No Customer Service at all. Was ignored over and over. I came to Stevinson to put down a deposit to order a 2015 Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 because it was one of the best rated dealerships around. Oh b I came to Stevinson to put down a deposit to order a 2015 Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 because it was one of the best rated dealerships around. Oh boy... I was so wrong. First off, no one in the dealership knew what this car was. I kinda of expected that... but every single sales person was basically trying to tell me I was wrong, and what I actually wanted was a Monogram Series in Yuzu yellow. HA... seriously? What happened to the customer always being right? Anyways... I know that the only car that comes in Yuzu yellow is the one I want, so I knew it couldn't possibly have been wrong, so I went with it anyways. Put down a deposit of $500 in June for them to reserve the car. At this point I was working with Evitt Hodge. He was out of the office the day I was free, so he had to give the money to a manager. So I went in, gave it to them, and they didn't even know what car I wanted... The only details they had to go off of was that it was an FR-S with an MSRP of what I told them, and in yellow... I was worried at this point, but I thought to myself "How bad could it be?" Afterwards I called Evitt to make sure that they received the deposit, and it took him 3 days to respond to me. THREE... and his excuse? "I was on vacation". Over the new few weeks, I gave them about 1 call per week. I could never get a hold of Evitt, so I always had to call their main line and talk with someone else to get an update on my order, and I would rarely get a response even then. One month in, my out-of-state friends said that the car has already been allocated out to dealers. I was excited, so I gave Evitt another call. Again, no answer, so I left a voicemail. Took him another 2 days to get back to me. Evitt told me that they have not yet received the allocations... At this point, I was so sick of being ignored by the people there, I didn't even believe Evitt, so I gave Stevinson WEST a call. Spoke directly to their main Scion sales manager, and he told me that they just got 3 allocated. I called Evitt back and asked to speak with his manager (Brad Kounkel), which I did. The manager confirmed to me that they did actually get allocations. Apparently, they can't even communicate this information internally? I had to ask the manager directly? But he again tried to tell me that I was actually ordering a Monogram series. At this point I was very confused and concerned. I talked with Brad for almost an hour while he consistently lied and lied to me and just told me that I was wrong. I dropped my argument at this point. I was just buying a car... who cares where it's from, as long as I get my car, I'll be happy, right? A few weeks went buy, and I got word from my friends out of state that they just got their VIN numbers and delivery dates. So I call Evitt back to ask if he has some more information for me. Unsurprisingly, after 14 calls, and more than a week of no answer from both Brad and Evitt... I finally get a call back. What was his excuse? "I was on vacation". REALLY? Is this the default excuse in Stevinson's policy? This is the THIRD time I've heard this excuse. Apparently, everyone takes monthly vacations here. EVEN if they were on vacation, have they never heard of a concept called out-of-office coverage? At this point, I didn't even care anymore about them. I started looking for other dealers and eventually one reached out to me giving me an amazing discount to help relieve some of the frustration that Stevinson gave me. I prompted switched my order over to them, and gave Evitt a voicemail saying that I didn't want the order anymore due to personal reasons. That was 6 days ago... and I never got a call back from them. Seems like they never wanted my business anyways. Bottom line... I was lied to and I was ignored over and over and over again. I cannot possibly understand where this dealer gets it's good ratings from. I can't speak for an off-the-lot sales experience, but if you are ordering a custom car... DO NOT even CONSIDER this place. EDIT: After I posted the review, Stevinsons did try and call me to "apologize". Turns out they only care about the customer once the customer decides to take negative action against them. Not to mention that their "reply" as you can see below is simply twisting the facts in my review. I never cared about the delivery date, all I wanted was updates, and prompt communication, neither of which I received. I also understand very well how a car allocation system works, and was never complaining about that. My problem is with the customer service. All I ask is for the sales people to be honest and be able to communicate promptly and professional, but apparently that's too much to ask for from Stevinson. More
