Went to the dealership last week to check out an Edge with my husband. We were immediately greeted by Ron, who took our information quickly and got us right into the vehicle to test drive. We really felt like he had our needs in mind when helping us decide which exact model and color would best suit us. We were offered coffee while we waited for the vehicle to be brought up, and all of the salesmen were so friendly, making sure we had a perfect experience. When it came down to checking out credit, etc. the finance department was great. They helped us weigh out leasing vs. buying options and made sure we got the best vehicle possible. We never expected to make a purchase on our first trip to the dealership, but the service was so phenomenal that we saw no point in going anywhere else. This is our first Ford and it most certainly won't be our last! Keep up the good work Stevens! You earned yourselves life-long customers! More
I have been a longtime ford customer and the the time came to replace my 2000 ford explorer with something newer. I spoke with the General Manager Ron and told him exactly what I was looking for and wha came to replace my 2000 ford explorer with something newer. After some searching they got a vehicle in that was perfect and honestly more then I had hoped for considering I was very specific about wanting a newer explorer with a third row which are hard to find in good condition and the price I was given was fantastic. Marilyn the finance manager was great she was able to get me financed with terms I could comfortable handle and on delivery day she had me in and out of the finance office quickly. I love my new truck and have already recommended Stevens Ford to friends and family for there next car purchase. More
I was travelling 150 miles from home when I had an engine problem. Despite a typically busy Tuesday morning in their Service Dept., Joanne had my problem analyzed within 10 minutes. Informed that I had a pot problem. Despite a typically busy Tuesday morning in their Service Dept., Joanne had my problem analyzed within 10 minutes. Informed that I had a potential $1,600 repair, she went above and beyond to find a Ford Service Notice which indicated Ford would pay for this. Since she had to order the part for the 6 hour repair job, she got me a Courtesy Vehicle ride to the train station so I could get home. When the repair was comnpleted, she arranged to pick me up at the train station several days later so I could resume my journey. The Stevens AutoGroup experience I had with Joanne and the Service Dept was superior to that of my home dealership - and this from a dealer I'd never visited and would likely never visit again. Our car was struck by lightning which fried the computer electronics. This can end up being a 'total loss' but because the service department was so conscientious about evaluating our car, the insurance com electronics. Steven's of Milford has one priority, CUSTOMER SERVICE. I own 3 Fords; all of which I have serviced at Steven's. I purchased my '06 Explorer there and have recommended Steven's to a friend who was looking to own 3 Fords; all of which I have serviced at Steven's. I purchased my '06 Explorer there and have recommended Steven's to a friend who was looking to buy a Focus. He went to Steven's and bought the car. What impresses me too is the fact that David Stevens who owns the dealership is truly concerned with customer satisfaction. I had an issue with my '06 Explorer that was a manufacturers defect. Ford would do nothing. Steven's FORD listened to what the problem was and took care of what FORD should have. This is true dedication on the dealer's part to serving the customer. I would without question give Steven's FORD a 100 star rating! More
My wife and I went to this dealer to purchase a new Ford Explorer (our third in 12 years) in January of 2012. Initally we met with Shawn, a young sales guy who was nice, worked hard and found us a vehicle. Explorer (our third in 12 years) in January of 2012. Initally we met with Shawn, a young sales guy who was nice, worked hard and found us a vehicle. We then signed the paperwork on January 28,2012 to buy a new Explorer with a CJ. CJ was a consummate professional, and we felt comfortable with our purchase. On January 30th, 2012 I called to see what the delivery date would be for the car, and we were informed that CJ had left to become the GM of Branford Ford, which did not surprise us since he a good guy and very capable. I asked who I need to speak to in order to get our car delivered and they indicated that a Bob in sales would handle it. When I was transferred to him I explained what had happened and after doing so Bob asked how he could help me. I explained again what had happened and Bob indicated that he was not the sales person that sold me the vehicle, could not help me and hung up. I called back the dealership, explained to the receptionist what happened and was told that "Bob treats all customers and even employees like that" and was told not to be offended. I asked what the next step was and they attempted to transfer me to Ron, who they indicated was now the sales/ general manager. Ron was too busy to speak with us, so I was transferred back to the reception, who then transfered me back to Bob, who told me once again that he could not help me and hung up. At that point, we called Ford regional customer service, who apologized but indicated that the dealership was independently owned and that they could not really do anything. While we tried to decide what to do Ron called us the next day. I was expecting that he was calling to apologize for the mixup but instead he was furious that we had called the Ford Customer Service line and had spoken poorly of the dealership. He indicated that he was refusing to deliver the vehicle that we purchased, and that irrespective of the fact that we had a signed contract he was not going to deliver the vehicle and he hung up the phone. As a loyal Ford owner for many years now we were taken aback by all of this behavior and wondered if this is why US Automakers have trouble selling cars. When we looked at the other reviews for this dealer you will see that it is no wonder why they have a 2.9 out of five rating. At least they are consistently bad. Be careful if you choose to deal with these guys. Thankfully, we were able to reconnect with CJ at Branford Ford (a consistently 5.0 rated dealership), a longer drive but well worth it. He and his team were able to deliver the vehicle that we wanted within a week at the same price. We have since brought the car back to Branford for scheduled service and their service dept is also very good. More

The work needed to be done on my car was extensive therefore the car needed to be kept overnight. Stevens made arrangements with Enterprise for me to have a loaner till my car was ready. Enterprise picked me up promptly, took me to their office where I was given a 2012 Chevy Impala to drive while my Taurus was being repaired. Kudos to Joanne Voitkevics your service advisor. Joanne is without a doubt an absolute treasure to deal with. She is professional, knowledgeable and her personality couldn’t be nicer. I just think she goes above and beyond what is expected of her as service advisor. The work was done in one complete day so I was able to get my Taurus back Friday morning thanks to the guys in the service department. They did a good job. Also, thanks to Ron DeWeese for being so knowledgeable regarding car parts and being patient explaining what parts go where and why it’s needed. He is professional with a wonderful personality.In the near future I will be ready to purchase a new car and I will be coming to Stevens Ford for that purchase. You run a tight ship and you have a magnificent crew. I commend them all. I will also tell my friends and co-workers what a great business Steven’s Ford is and I thank you very much for the excellent service I have received. Keep up the good work. P.S.
