While they were not able to replicate the sound, agreed something was going on and didn’t stop till all options were explored for said noise. I bought 2014 Chevy Equinox in Feb of this year and I believe they knew it was a lemon. About a month in the transmission was slipping and shifting harder and that the remote start had only worked like believe they knew it was a lemon. About a month in the transmission was slipping and shifting harder and that the remote start had only worked like twice. I called them and they said I had to take it to xx. Charles Hyundai's service dept because that's where the car had come from. I told them I had a FIXD and had plugged it in my car and it gave me codes saying the TCM module wasn't communicating with the transmission. Kayla, from Hyundai, who is a rude person and shouldn't be in customer service, FINALLY called me back and said they cleared the codes and it was all fixed and to come pick it up! Well, went and picked it up after work and of course they were gone and of course, not fixed. So, called the next day and they were again rude and I took it back. They had it for over a week, couldn't even get me a rental car until my brother took me up there, we were going to just finally get the xxx car that Nissan sold me knowing full well it was crap, and they had no clue where it was. Numerous call not answered, not returned. Said they were going to send to Chevy because they couldn't read the codes, then they got me a rental for one day then told me it wasn't worth it for them to fix it and I got it back. When I bought it the loan officer pushed me and pushed me to get the extended partial warranty, I believe because he also knew the car was trouble. Now it klunks when you put it in reverse and drive, the back up camera doesn't work and when you start going the RPM's rev up to almost 3 before you actually even move. The Check engine light is on, Check power steering and stabiltrak lights are on. Code U0101 "Lost Communication with TCM" is still an issue. And I've only had it three months. They, I believe, knowingly sold an older woman, who doesn't make a lot of money, a lemon. Will then fix it? LOL You know they won't! Would I recommend any of those dealers? Never in a million years!! More
