An appointment was automatically made last year that was somehow not in the system. I received an email and a text for the appointment. I called 2 days before appointment and an automated service confirmed somehow not in the system. I received an email and a text for the appointment. I called to see if my car was ready and I could not reach a person. I had the website up, and the phone number to SVW would change each time I refreshed the site. I ended up getting someone to drive me to SVW to check on my car. I blame this on the automated system SVW uses. I do feel the service man could have called my phone number that morning when he saw a car not on schedule. More

I recently had the extreme displeasure of dealing with Peter Faris (or as his co- workers call him, Pete). My fiance was looking to purchase a new VW Atlas and I went with her to Southern VW Greenbrier in Peter Faris (or as his co- workers call him, Pete). My fiance was looking to purchase a new VW Atlas and I went with her to Southern VW Greenbrier in Chesapeake VA to assist her. I don't think I have ever witnessed a man treat my fiance with such utter disrespect and incivility. This man has an extreme misogynistic attitude which made my fiance feel devalued and emotionally stressed. Her input and personal experiences were regarded as insignificant and trivial when it came to her requirements in the selection of the vehicle she wanted. Her lack of knowledge in vehicle maintenance was challenged by Mr. Faris and scrutinized to the point of extreme stress and frustration. My finance really had her heart set on purchasing a new VW Atlas after driving her sister's vehicle but after dealing with Peter Faris she assured me she would never go back to Southern VW Greenbrier, not with Peter Faris being the General Manager. What a shame it only took one bad apple, Peter Faris, to ruin someone's car purchasing experience. He obviously has a great deal of difficulty dealing with women, or maybe it’s just the general public. More
They handled the repairs I requested although the problem getting the right part forced me to be without my wheels for four weeks. I think for the money and the delay, it would have been good customer service to wash my car. More
