I made an appointment to have my car serviced and was told I would get a call later in the day for pickup. I got a call, but to tell me that my car hadn’t been looked at and it would be seen the next day told I would get a call later in the day for pickup. I got a call, but to tell me that my car hadn’t been looked at and it would be seen the next day. Three days later I finally got a hold of someone at the dealership after several calls and messages. She informed me that the shop was so backed up that it would be at least another 3-4 days until my car was looked at, but to be aware that cars had been in the shop for two weeks due to the backlog. There are many shops I can choose, and I was fortunate to not be extremely inconvenienced. The best course of action would be to improve the transparency and honesty in communication to customers.
