On 7-17-20 I brought my 2013 F150 by to get an oil change and a state inspection. I dropped it off at 10am and around 1 o’clock I received a call to that it was ready and could be picked up at any time. The and a state inspection. The phone call never indicated that there was anything wrong so I assumed everything went smoothly. When I arrived about 20 minutes later to pick it up I saw my truck sitting out front. I walked in the back door and paid at the register and was given only the paperwork for my oil change. Once again, there was no indication that anything was wrong. I was given my keys and I walked outside to leave. Once I got in my truck, I found a rejection sticker on the windshield and the inspection paperwork in my passenger seat. The paperwork indicated that my vehicle had failed due to my exhaust system and no other information was given. When I walked back into the shop I walked up to the same man (his first name was Mark) that I dropped the keys off with. He was also the same person that called to let me know the truck was ready. I asked why my truck had failed and he said that the hanger that holds my exhaust up was broken and needed to be fixed in order to pass. He said that he doesn’t have the part to fix it and that I would have to take it to a muffler shop. It also seemed like he had an attitude and was too busy to speak to me. He didn’t even look up from his computer until I was walking away. 1. Why didn’t he tell me that the truck failed over the phone or when I paid and got the keys? 2. This hanger has been broken since I’ve owned the vehicle and is by no means a safety hazard. 3. I’ve gotten my truck inspected here before and it passed with a broken hanger so why did it fail this time and not during previous inspections at Hall Ford? 4. Why fail a vehicle over something so minor when you don’t have the capability to fix it? It is my understanding that state inspections have gotten stricter over the past year, however, if this is how you will be treating a customer that has been here multiple times for routine maintenance, I think I will take my business elsewhere. More

Found the issue and took care of it responsibly and fast very nice people there.
