The communication at this dealership is terrible. I purchased my vehicle over a month ago, we had several slip ups. Emily (Service Manager) was very good at keeping us up to date. We didn’t understand completely why our truck took 9 weeks to repair. I called around to other shops who provided parts number consistent with my 2018 VIN with parts availability. Southern Dodge parts department ordered a 2024 part on national back order - with 6 model years of configuration delta. It took 8 weeks for Southern to coordinate parts delivery and upon arrival the 2024 part’s wiring harness didn’t match up with my 2018 truck. It took 3 days for Southern to coordinate with corporate HQ engineering to cross walk the wiring configuration differences. The 9 weeks without my truck adversely impacted planned trips with my RV and recreational boating outings for September and October. We still don’t understand the rationale for ordering a part (with national availability issue) that didn’t align with my configuration— a preferred parts vendor who dictates cost over parts availability.? More
