It's been a month and a half since I dropped off my car. I got a call to bring my Chevrolet Spark in for a recall since this is where I bought it. It On the first day after a 2 hour wait, I was told the pa I got a call to bring my Chevrolet Spark in for a recall since this is where I bought it. It On the first day after a 2 hour wait, I was told the parts were not available. The appointment was rescheduled for the next week. On my second appointment, after a 2 hour wait, I was told that during the repairs one of the parts broke and they did not have the part in stock to fix it. I was given a loaner vehicle. It has been over 30 days and to this date, the part is still on back order with no expected delivery date. At this point, my concern is that my vehicle is just sitting outside in the elements and its not being started or moved and this can cause issues in the future. I understand that the dealership has their hands tied, since they rely on the manufacturer to provide the parts needed to properly complete the repair. I have always owned Chevrolet vehicles, but I am very dissatisfied that as a company they cannot even provide an estimate of when I will have my car back when it was taken in for a simple hood latch replacement.
