I scheduled an appointment because I was told there would be a 2-3 hour wait when I arrived during express hours. After sitting for almost 2 hours, I went and asked for the status. Antwan shared that they were overbooked and it would be another 30 minutes. I informed him that the reason I scheduled an appointment was to avoid the wait. He was not compassionate or understanding and offered to pull my vehicle out without my scheduled service being completed. I said no. About 15 minutes later, my vehicle is ready and I’m charged way more than I’ve ever been charged for an oil change. I believe he added on additional amounts because of our interaction. I saw this same negativity towards other customers during my visit. More

I purchased my 2024 vehicle from Southern Kia brand new. Within 10mo of ownership, the navigation display screen started flickering and would randomly turn off. I had to wait 6wks for an appointment, because this was a low issue on their list. A couple days prior to my appointment, one of my key jobs stopped working, a day later the passenger and rear hatch stopped unlocking via the push button(s) on the door(s), and would only unlock via the fob or interior lock/unlock buttons. When I called to update my appointment for these new issues, I checked to see if there would be an earlier appointment - the earliest appointment was one week out, magically quicker than the 6wks I was previously waiting when I wasn't having issues with the fob/locks (I kept my original appointment as it was sooner). When bringing my vehicle in, I was told I was not allowed to wait on it, and had to drop it off - I have no other vehicle nor no other way for transportation. The (asst.?) manager on duty had zero sympathy for my situation and did not care whatsoever, nor did he seem to care about the issues that were happening with a brand new vehicle that I had purchased from them. After going back and forth, after he refused to either give me a loaner for the day or covering a rental, he so graciously agrees for one of the valet(?) drives to transport me home, and that they would also return me to the dealership to pick up my vehicle. I was called later that day around 1:30p and told my vehicle was ready. When I verified with the rep that called, that the same gentleman who brought me home would be picking me up to return me to the dealership, I received confirmation that he "would be leaving shortly". Three hours passed before I called back and inquired about where my transport was, and after a small back and forth, the gentleman was finally on his arrive and arrived shortly after - to which he did confirm he wasn't told about returning to pick me up until the later time after I had to call. After picking up my vehi ke, I noticed the same exact issue with the display screen as why I had originally brought it in. I decided to drive home as it was close to the shops closing time, and I didn't want to be in the situation of being without a vehicle. Again. I called the following day and was able to make an appointment for that following day. Prior to returning with my vehicle the second time, I located on Souther Kia's website where they claim to have a "Southern Hospitality" program. Included in this is giving their customer a loaner if you have to return your vehicle to be worked on for a second time, for the same issue you previously had the vehicle in for. When I brought my vehicle in for the second time, I was once again told I was not allowed to wait on it and had to drop it off (per their "policy" you cannot wait on vehicles undergoing diagnostics). When I repeated their "policy" back to the rep who was checking me in, they stared at me before walking off, and coming back a few minutes later to confirm the issue I was returning with my vehicle, was the same issue I was in with it for two days ago. After they left and returned a couple more times, they finally returned stating they were going to have me show them the display (though why, when they weren't the tech?), so that they could then explain it to the tech, and they could open a "case" with Kia in order for Kia to tell/suggest to them how they should proceed on attempting to make repairs, or if they should replace the entire display. At which point, the tech also. Came out and I was able to show them previous videos of the display flickering/shutting off. They informed me that the likely case would be having to return multiple times in order for them to try different diagnostics, depending on what Kia may say... Rather than uphold their policy, they would rather I waste time and gas making trips to the dealership for an unknown number of diagnostic tests. More

Today went to dealership after they called me to tell me according to onstar which i dont have active in my vehicle says im at 27% oil life and to set my appointment up to get my free oil change only to be according to onstar which i dont have active in my vehicle says im at 27% oil life and to set my appointment up to get my free oil change only to be told it was my last free oil change and no more free state inspections by advisor antwane because I was put on a "list" by their dealership because I don't buy extra services from them even though the manufacturer doesn't have any until 45k miles currently my vehicle only has 35k miles on it. The only thing that was due was wiper blades which i just replaced along with the air filters. I don't appreciate the scare tactics used by the dealer and service advisors. When I purchased the vehicle it says in black and white free oil changes and state inspections as long as I own the vehicle and the original owner. I've purchased 4 vehicles from them total and will definitely not be purchasing one from them ever again and will nit be getting any service work performed by them in the future. Also when I was told my vehicle was done I went to pick up the keys and my advisor while leaving the office unattended and door open told me my keys and paperwork are on the counter and to sign one paper take the other and get my keys off the counter not a very safe practice because anyone could've taken my keys and car then left with it or I could've walked off with any other vehicle that had keys on the counter and drove off with it. More

I had an appointment for my 2022 Telluride SX. Once again, I had a great experience dropping off and picking up my Ride. He did call me with an update and helped me set up an appointment for the necessary follow up work. I used to be very happy with this dealership, until I bought the 2017 Canyon from them. I admit they have been pretty good about fixing most of the problems with it, but I don't think they have done any bought the 2017 Canyon from them. I admit they have been pretty good about fixing most of the problems with it, but I don't think they have done anything to fix the problem only I seem to notice with the transmission. The last time they could find a problem the extended warranty said they had to change the transmission fluid (which had been done before) and update the software (which I feel GMC should have covered) and I had to pay for myself. That fixed the major shaking but I still think it shifts too rough. More
