When I arrived at the dealership, I did not pull into the bay as it was my first time there for service and I wasn’t sure where to go. I parked outside of the service center and walked in. When I approached the counter, Mariah did not greet me and simply asked, “How can I help you?” I explained that I had a 2:00 PM appointment for an oil change and that I was a little early but would be dropping the car off. Instead of checking me in, she told me to drive my car to the bay first and then she could assist me. I did as instructed, brought the car in, and left. When I returned to pick up my car, I was handed my keys without any further direction. I had to ask where my car was, and Mariah replied that it was “out back.” I then discovered my vehicle was parked all the way in the back of the parking lot. As a customer, I don’t believe I should have to search for my car or ask where it is after service is complete. Clear communication and basic customer courtesy go a long way in creating a positive service experience, and unfortunately, that was lacking during my visit. More
