The service shop is the worst, both in terms of quality control of the work performed, and customer service. Within a two day period, my daughter took her truck in for an oil change and state inspection control of the work performed, and customer service. Within a two day period, my daughter took her truck in for an oil change and state inspection, then the next day, I took my truck in for an oil change. Both events were disastrous. The issue on the day that my daughter had service, they did not call her when the service was done. They completed the work around 4:30pm, based upon the time stamp on the receipt. She called them at 5:30, and learned from them that the truck was ready. Again, SHE had to call THEM. Then, at 6:00, they called her to find out if she was on her way, because at 6:00, they closed. To clarify, yet again, the reason she was late for pickup is because they never called her, she had to call them, and was late. So she asked if they would wait, because she was on her way, they told her the service manager was unwilling to wait. So they told her they would leave her key at the sales building. She assumed they meant GMC sales, because they never specified. Turns out they left the key at the Kia sales building. Then, the keys weren't with the manager they gave them to. He left them with a receptionist. So she had a wild goose chase to find the keys. The following day, I took my truck in for an oil change. When I dropped it off, I asked the service advisor if they could check my coolant level, because that morning, I smelled the empty reservoir. His answer was that they do a 27 point inspection. They called a couple hours later, I picked up the truck, and drove to Wawa, less than a mile away. After I picked up my mobile order, I came out, and all my brand new oil was on the ground in the Wawa parking lot. I opened the hood to check the dipstick, and it was down to 1 quart. Also, I checked the coolant reservoir, and it was clear nobody had topped it off. I topped it off myself with a bottle I had in the bed of my truck. I took the truck back, fuming at what just happened, and the service advisor told me I needed to talk to the service manager. She told me he would come talk to me in the waiting room. They re did the oil change, and called me, and I went to the desk, and picked up my key. She tried to get me going with the key and receipt, and I looked at her blankly. No response. I said "I thought the service manager was supposed to come talk to me." Only then, she went to fetch the service manager. He informed me that the new filter had a defective o ring. I brought up the coolant thing, and he told me he told the tech to make sure he topped off my coolant, so this time, the service advisor had clearly told him what I was upset about, yet he never came to talk to me, until I raised the matter again. He offered me free repairs. He tried to offer me a free oil change, but I already have those. He then tried to offer me a free tire rotation, but I get those free too, from Discount Tire. I told him about an issue I'd been having, and he offered me a free inspection of that system, and if necessary, repair. But before the day I was due to bring it in, someone else fixed it, by shop vaccine water off the sensor I had been having trouble with. Haven't had a recurrence of that issue, so I have not taken the truck back for the offered service. But I don't want it anyway. I don't want that shop touching my truck ever again, because it is clear that quality control is not there. I have since also noticed that they didn't even change the next due oil change mileage sticker. Minor by comparison, but it reinforces the lack of quality control. More

I was very happy with the customer service I received from Dekwan. He was excellent however after having my car serviced my automatic start stopped working properly. Every time I go to start it the horn from Dekwan. He was excellent however after having my car serviced my automatic start stopped working properly. Every time I go to start it the horn starts going off. I had NO issues till now and they cannot tell me what they did wrong. I am so disappointed in this service. Now I have to figure out how to get this fixed and pay extra money when their the ones that broke it. I went there for routine maintenance which was already expensive and now I have pay even more!! IF ZERO STARS WERE AN OPTION THAT WOULD BE TOO GENEROUS. THIS REVIEW IS CONCERNING MY MOTHERS 2018 EQUINOX, THIS WAS HER 2ND OIL CHANGE, THE APPT WAS MADE IN MAY FOR SERVICE TO BE DONE ON 10/4/25. I TOOK HE THIS REVIEW IS CONCERNING MY MOTHERS 2018 EQUINOX, THIS WAS HER 2ND OIL CHANGE, THE APPT WAS MADE IN MAY FOR SERVICE TO BE DONE ON 10/4/25. I TOOK HER CAR IN AT THE SCHEDULED 8A APPT SLOT, DROPPED IT OFF AND FIGURED I WOULD BE GETTING A CALL WITHIN AN HOUR TO SAY IT WAS READY. MY MOTHER CALLED IN AT 1030 TO ASK HOW MUCH LONGER IT WOULD BE AND SHE WAS INFORMED THAT IT HASNT EVEN BEEN TOUCHED YET AS THEY HAVE OVERBOOKED FOR THE DAY, SHE SAID IF SHE HASNT BEEN CALLED BY NOON THAT WE WERE COMING UP THERE. WE DROVE UP PRIOR TO 12 AND NOTICED HER CAR WAS IN THE BACK PARKING LOT, WE WALK IN AND ASK TO SPEAK TO THE SERVICE MGR DANIEL AS HE WAS ASKED TO CALL MY MOTHER WHEN SHE CALLED IN AT 1030. DANIEL COMES IN WITH A PAPER AND WHEN ASKED IF THE CAR WAS READY HE SAID NO THAT THE OIL CHANGE HADNT BEEN DONE. WE ASKED WHY AND THATS WHEN HE INFORMS US THAT THE SERVICE VALET HAD LOST MY MOTHER'S ONE AND ONLY KEY FOB. THEY HAD KNOWN FOR 4 HRS AT THIS POINT THAT THE KEY WAS LOST YET HADNT CALLED TO TELL HER AND SHE WAS LIED TO ABOUT THE OVERBOOKING IN ORDER TO HIDE THE FACT THEY HAD LOST THE KEY. WE ASKED WHEN THEY HAD PLANNED ON TELLING US IT WAS LOST AND THE RESPONSE WAS AFTER THEY HAD DONE THE OIL AND WE WERE THERE TO GET THE CAR. WE HAD TO WAIT ROUGHLY ANOTHER 1.5 HRS OR SO THE NEW KEY COULD BE CUT AND THE FOB PROGRAMMED. THE OIL CHANGE WASNT DONE AND A NEW APPT WAS SCHEDULED FOR THIS WEEKEND OF 10/18. TO FURTHER SHOW HOW DIRTY AND DECEPTIVE THIS DEALERSHIP IS, MY MOTHER RECEIVES AN EMAIL THIS MORNING FROM CARFAX SAYING A SERVICE RECORD WAS ADDED FOR HER CAR, SHE READS IT AND IT SAYS THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED, MAINTENANCE INSPECTION COMPLETED, FLUIDS CHECKED AND OIL/FILTER CHANGED. THAT IS A FLAT OUT LIE, THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN LOSE HER FOB AND REPROGRAM A NEW ONE, YET THE NEW FOB WASNT ENTERED ON THIS REPORT. IT IS ILLEGAL IN THE STATE OF VA TO FALSIFY MAINTENANCE SESRVICE RECORDS. WE WILL NOW BE CONTACTING THE BBB, CARFAX AND THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITIES TO LODGE A COMPLAINT AGAINST GREENBRIAR SOUTHERN GMC. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR SERVICE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING LIED TO AND LIKE WONDERING IF THEY ACTUALLY DID WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. More

Never answer the phone, aside from that, good service.
