When I purchased my 2005 Suburban I was given paperwork that states that I have free oil changes and state inspections for as long as I owned the vehicle. Upon arriving at the dealership and checking in I that states that I have free oil changes and state inspections for as long as I owned the vehicle. Upon arriving at the dealership and checking in I was blindsided by the service writer bluntly states that this was my last free oil change. I protested and was giving snidley that I had not have all the service done at the dealership so they would not honor the warranty any longer. I have gotten the oil changed there for 20 years and no one has ever said anything about a change in the policy and when it was implemented. Really disappointed at this sudden change in policy. At first they said the recall fix would take over an hour. When I inquired, after 15 minutes (car repair had not started) they said they would let the technician know I had another appointment elsewher hour.
