Service department is horrible and always trying to rip you off, especially if you are female. Tried to recommend a new air filter. Was told mine was extremely dirty....I just changed the filter a week prior and even wrote the date on it with permanent marker. Service department does not have their act together. Dealership sold me the extended warranty when I bought the car. When I bought it the warranty salesman told me I was covered if a rock hit my windshi Dealership sold me the extended warranty when I bought the car. When I bought it the warranty salesman told me I was covered if a rock hit my windshield and it needed to be replaced. That happened and the windshield cracked 3/4 the way across the windshield. They pulled out the fine print that said only a crack 6” or less was covered. Once Southern Kia has your warranty money, they don’t want to cover anything!! Totally unsatisfied with the service department. They don’t have their act together. More
Poor communication. I was given a name & number to contact with questions & that person was off that day. No one returned calls. When I did finally speak with someone, I was told all recalls were being completed (went in for 1 voluntary recall because other recall had parts backordered) but thought it would late the following day when car would be ready. Got call mid-morning following day to pick up car but couldn't due to work since we had orginally made plans to pick car up early morning. When picked car up, 3 of 4 recalls were done. One still needed parts to be ordered. Not sure why I was told all recalls were being completed. We only had received notice of 2 recalls, not 4. More
