The representative was kind. However, my issue is that I had to pay $200 so the serviceman could figure out that my base model 2019 pilot does not have an emergency hatch releas However, my issue is that I had to pay $200 so the serviceman could figure out that my base model 2019 pilot does not have an emergency hatch release. This seems like information the sales rep or the service mechanic should have been able to answer up front rather than having me wait for 3 hours to find out, apparently, this is a common issue on the base models and you would think an experienced service provider for Hondas would know this off the top of his head. They could have looked up my VIN to verify tgat it was in fact a base model. I just feel like they just wanted to get a sale out of me rather than provide good customer service so I’d return in the future for automotive needs. More
