Indifferent Customer Service I made an appointment with the dealership service department. Upon arrival, I sat in the service line for about ten minutes while three service repre I made an appointment with the dealership service department. Upon arrival, I sat in the service line for about ten minutes while three service representatives stood nearby making small talk among themselves. I was the first vehicle in line with one other customer behind me. Finally, the customer behind me backed out and drove away. I backed out, chirped my tires a little on the driveway, which got their attention, and pulled back in. I got out and stood leaning against my car for perhaps another five minutes. Finally, one of those three service representatives came over to help. They acted as though they were doing me a favor! I've had a similar experience at this dealership previously! The service technicians, who actually do the work, are the best part of this dealership service business. More
Questionable Customer Service Yesterday I made an appointment to service my F250 Diesel. No one really Came out to greet me or ask me what I wanted but I told the lady That I had Yesterday I made an appointment to service my F250 Diesel. No one really Came out to greet me or ask me what I wanted but I told the lady That I had met on the service drive I had a 3 pm appointment and I had provided All the info to the gal on the phone. She assumed I only wanted an oil change. I watched as they brought it into the bay and crawled under it to drain the oil. I watched as they changed the oil and filter then returned the truck to the service drive. I really was not sure who was my advisor as this was my first visit to the dealer. I went out to the service drive and asked if he thought my truck was ready? He said yes and I informed him they had not rotated the tires! He said the service advisor had not put tire rotation on the work order! The Service Advisor came out and ask me what was wrong. I told her I wanted an oil service and tire rotation and that I informed the gal when I made the appointment. She said she mis understood. They then brought my truck into another bay and rotated the tires. The truck then disappeared and I was wondering where it went. One of the guys that serviced the truck told me they were getting it washed. I feel there are too many people in the Loop that are Not Paying attention to the Customer! When I made the appointment the gal on the phone told me she would send me an email confirming the appointment and the work to be done! Never received an email. The Service Advisor never came out to greet me or to obtain the details of what I wanted Done. Never received any updates from the Service Advisor on my truck! This was my first visit to SWF. My impression there were lots of people running around but no one really paying attention to the customer. I was Happy with the Work that was performed on the Truck, the Price and the Wash. More
The representative did keep in touch with me. Quoted one price but actual invoice was lower which pleased me. One suggestion is for Ryan to change his VM greeting. 20k mile service, needed navigation system repaired. Repairs on navigation to take 1 day, with 30 vehicle in line ahead of me. All the staff we met in the Service Dept.,Parts Dept, and Bodyshop were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our two vehicles. Took my truck in for an oil change. Asked them to tell me why my touch screen wasn’t working. They told me it was $1,260 to repair it which I declined. They charged me $99.95 for the diagnosis. I have no problem with paying it IF I was told upfront it was going to cost that. I probably would have said not to worry about it as it wasn’t a shot issue. For them to throw that fee at me without telling me upfront is dishonest and unethical. I will NOT step foot back in that place and I’ll make sure nobody I knows does if they have a choice. Ridiculous. More
