I had a dispute after the fact and all employees leading up to General Manager Jim Castle treated me like an animal. Despicable behavior that I have reported to Nissan America. up to General Manager Jim Castle treated me like an animal. Despicable behavior that I have reported to Nissan America. More
Was lied to about the amount of money i would be given for my trade in, Then was lied to again about how much i was getting for my trade in. To lower my payments they made my 5 year loan a 6 year and incr for my trade in, Then was lied to again about how much i was getting for my trade in. To lower my payments they made my 5 year loan a 6 year and increased my interest rate. Then the next day the car started leaking, on top of the fact that the car was never cleaned. I have the old owners drivers license and a dirty spoon of theirs. When i went back to try and get my car back I was informed they were in a money making business, and i had to just deal with all my new problems. More
Do not use this dealership. They will lie right to your face and rip you off. I was lied to about fees and damage charges on my previous lease. face and rip you off. I was lied to about fees and damage charges on my previous lease. More
I was given false information about financing and rebates over the phone before arriving. The salesperson could not give us a price for the car. He tried to work out a monthly payment rather than an overall over the phone before arriving. The salesperson could not give us a price for the car. He tried to work out a monthly payment rather than an overall deal. He insulted our intelligence by trying to make us think a lower payment at 72 months was better than 60 months. The "highlight" of the visit was when be began to scream at us because we didn't fall for his poor sales tactics. The type of negotitiation at this dealership is pathetic. wE WILL NEVER RCOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP! More
When I came to this web site, I was sad to see some of the reviews. I had a very pleasant experience with Massapequa Nissan and I wanted to share that expericene. I was leasing a 2010 Nissan Rogue an the reviews. I had a very pleasant experience with Massapequa Nissan and I wanted to share that expericene. I was leasing a 2010 Nissan Rogue and just before the holidays, I received an incentive email to pull out of my lease early and into a new model for mathcing payments. Nissan said this was due to the demand for pre-owned cars in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. I had purchased cars from Amity/Massapequa Nissan since 1987, but had recently been purchasing from Atlantic Nissan in Islip because we followed our favorite saleman out to the dealer. I called Atlantic first to see if they would honor the pull ahead and was told they would but not at the same monthly payment. That Nissan had changed all the "trim levels" on the Rogue now and my payment would be $50 a month higher. I told them that this was a non-starter as we are currently on 1 salary and could not afford a payment increase. That night I was on the internet doing my home work on the 2013 Rogue and these new trim levels. When I asked for an online quote, Nissan referred me to Massapequa Nissan. I went on their web site and submitted my email for the quote. The following afternoon, I received a call form Internet Sales Manager, Krista Rodgers. I explained to her the letter I had and my situation. She asked me to come by and see her Saturday and scheduled an appointment to have my 2010 appraised for "lease equitity." I asked her please not to waste my time, and she said "I am sure we can make all this work for you." On Saturday I showed up for the appointment and Krista had us work with Sales Consultant, Zakou Ide. He was very nice and made the whole experience easy an pleasant. We discussed the lease we were in, out current financial situation and what our expectation were. We test drove a new 2013 Rogue and then he went to work the numbers with the sales manager. When he returned, the deal was exactly what we expected, no hassle no issues. And they included free oil changes for the year. We made the deal, he allowed us to drive the old car home to empty it out and 1.5 hours we returned to finalize the deal. At this point, we needed to sit down with the Finance Manager, Vincent Costa. I was expect the hard sale on the extended warranty, road side service, pre-paid service, etc. All that stuff the ends up jacking up the monthly payments. Vincent did none of that. He thanked us for being loyal Nissan customers and thanked us again for retunring to Massapequa Nissan from Atlantic Nissan. He knew that we were where we needed monthly payment wise, so we signed all the paper work and were out the door in our new car. From beginning to end the whole experience was pleasant and took a total of 2 hours, not including the 1.5 hour lunch break we took. Thank you Zak, Krista and Vincent for making us feel welcome at Massapequa Nissan again. And for all of you considering going to Massapequa Nissan for a new car, ask for Krista and Zak and I am sure you will have similar experience. More

Cannot begin to explain what a horrible experience we had at this dealer. Post sandy, dealing with all the other issues, the people we dealt with could not have been more horrible. They lied about about th at this dealer. Post sandy, dealing with all the other issues, the people we dealt with could not have been more horrible. They lied about about the price they quoted us and then 4 hours later, denied the price that they gave us and could not meet the price thar we were quoted. We were told by the manager that the price was too good and he would lose money in the deal unless we signed up for the extended warranty. He needed to make money somehow he told us. Also said that all rooms were recorded and when we said we were probably going to refinance since their rates were high, he said he could not sell to us based on that. If you told me I was being linked or on candid camera, I would have believed you. Ended up going to westbury nissan and bought two there. Good price, not the best service but anything was better than Massapequa Nisssan. Customer service from Nissan USA said they could not help since they are independently owned but they had heard many complaints about this dealership. Seriously, do not waste your precious time here! First, Gary was AMAZING! He wasn't the problem. He wasn't pushy or overbearing like other sales people. I had come in by myself a few weeks before to talk to someone about my options and the woman I spoke to pushy or overbearing like other sales people. I had come in by myself a few weeks before to talk to someone about my options and the woman I spoke to , Laura, didn't make me feel in anyway comfortable. She wanted to have my 2012 totaled right away, even though I explained that I don't have the means to purchase a car and I needed to have my car. So a few weeks later, I had taken my 2012 Rogue in for service and the car was totaled at the dealership due to damage from Hurricane Sandy. The insurance company is giving me enough to put a nice down payment on a new car. a friend of mine is lending me the down payment until i get the insurance money. So as I emptied my car, my friend went in to talk to someone about purchasing a new car. When I went in to the sales area, she was speaking to Gary. He tried to locate the exact car I had. When he did, we went to speak to the finance guy, Jim. We were told by the finance guy that the price of the car would be $25,500. Because I am on a fixed monthly income, payments needed to stay the same as my 2012. The price of the 2013 came in higher because they added the $2000 rebate to the price BEFORE deducting it, so the price of the car came in at $27,500 BEFORE the rebate. Had me sign all the paperwork BEFORE the car got there from their Brentwood facility. So I am paying for insurance and financing without having the car in hand. We kept telling them that we would come back the next day but they were determined to keep us there and make sure we signed paper work and they got the deposit before telling us the car wasn't there yet and it would be another hour and a half before it would get there. Then they wanted to deliver the car in the pitch dark and rain. How can I check the car in that? This experience has left a bad impression not like when I purchase my 2012. The sales guy at that time even made my first service appointment for me. More
. I would not advise buying from this dealership unless you start talking directly with someone who will give you an "out the door" price. If the final price is different then the one you negotia you start talking directly with someone who will give you an "out the door" price. If the final price is different then the one you negotiated, walk out the door- they don't deserve your business. More
Frank was helpful and honest. He was not pushy or aggressive. It was not the typical car buying experience. No back and forth, let me speak to my manager nonsense. To the point, very professional. aggressive. It was not the typical car buying experience. No back and forth, let me speak to my manager nonsense. To the point, very professional. More
