Guaranteed Warranty Scam In 2011, I purchased a 2008 Rogue. At the time, the salesman and manager kept selling this warranty...can't lose...if you don't use the warranty with In 2011, I purchased a 2008 Rogue. At the time, the salesman and manager kept selling this warranty...can't lose...if you don't use the warranty within 5 years, you get your $2500 back... we'll, 5 years later, after not using the warranty, I start calling Nissan. As I can see from many reviews of this dealership, I experienced the same "no call back" response. I figured I would hear from someone at Nissan with an email or letter saying my $2500.00 is on it's way but that never happened. My paperwork did not have an expiration date on it (I wonder how that was conveniently left off??). Anyway, I get so many excuses from Nissan telling me someone will call back, my paperwork is missing, I have to speak to the finance manager, the finance manager is only there a couple of days a week. Finally, I learn I have to speak to the Warranty company and Nissan gives me the wrong warranty company...I'm leaving messages for a guy who has no idea who I am. I finally speak to someone who directs me to the right company and after a few emails and phone calls, I speak to someone who tells me the warranty expired a couple of months ago!! She did tell me that if the dealership Waives this expiration date (which wasn't on my paperwork), she will send a check. I've called Nissan so many times and am still waiting for a returned call!! Horrible customer service!! If you're not buying a car from them, they do not want to assist you. More

Larry is the biggest xxxxxxx that I've met at any dealership, ever. He will try to rip you off and lie in your face. His "due at signing" quote is much higher than it normally should be, so if you ask him for a breakdown, he will present "Marketing fee", "listing fee" and more such nonsense fees. When you confront him, he gets very irritated. After a lengthy discussion of the extra fees, he admitted that they post "bait and switch" ads online with very low monthly payments to get you through the door and then charge you ridiculous nonexistent fees. Needless to say, as soon as he told me that, I walked out. More

This time I had Matt a different sales person. Never should have listen to and believed him and Larry the financial manager. They're very smooth, very slick and fast talking and glossed over what they were doing to drive the price up. They mislead me. The window sticker was removed and it wasn't until after I signed that I found out I got the shaft and paid way above sticker price. They said they would pay off my loan as a trade-in on my current car. I was still stuck getting charged $680 which was part of the loan they did not cover so, the financial manager lied about that. When I told him I didn't like the rate on the loan that he offered me, he got me a better rate but he didn't tell me he added several thousand dollars worth of add-ons in the form of extended warranties, pre-pay maintenance and roadside assistance plans so they could make their money. I ended up paying several thousand dollars more than I was told by the salesman. In the end it seems like a $30,000 car cost me $37,000 go figure. It's my fault for believing and trusting them. I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone and I will never buy a car from them again. More

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Corey as my salesperson and the first thing I told him was that I needed this to be handled quickly as I was pressed for time. He told me he would have the whole process done in a short period of time and he absolutely kept his word. The whole process was seamless and I could not have been happier with the outcome. I recommend massapequa Nissan and in particular I recommend anyone who is looking for a quick but thorough transaction to request to work with Corey!!! More

Upon arrival I asked for him and they claimed he was upstairs with another customer, we were handed over to Michael Sealys, La Shay never came down. After testing the car, I sat down and inquired about the numbers. Here were the surprises that I got from him. He was moving slowly so I felt a scam what about to happen. Here is what I was told: 1) Although the car listing said Pre Own Certified - the car was not and that it would cost another $875 to have it "officially" certified. 2) Although the listing was $16,982 they told me that I had to see the fine print way on the last line of the ad that required an additional 2,995, it had to be financed through Nissan and you had to have a 720 Credit Score. Basically the car that was listed in large print for 16.9K suddenly because $20k. There was a couple in the dealership that stormed out as I was coming back from my test drive. I should have taken that as a sign and left with them. Another guy tried to explain it away but it all felt like a big scam. I guess La Shay is still hiding. There are other dealers out there that are operating with integrity, give them your business, I AM. More

I understand my cerdit it not good & I had a repo but I know I could of get something even with a high rate .. I work in a use dealer , this people sucks !! They lost my sale & I will tell people never to come there .. they don't care about there customers!! More

I had a good experience at Massapequa Nissan. I was shopping around for a car and have been to several dealerships. I went here because I saw the car I wanted for a good price on Autotrader. I worked with Chris Shorter, and he was great.. as was Larry, the finance guy. They both weren't pushy, condescending, or unreasonable. This was the first car I purchased, and I was worried about financing because I don't have good credit. They worked with me to get the car I wanted at payments I can afford.. and even went out of their way to assure I got the extended warranty. Without their help, I really don't think I would have wound up with the new (used) car I wanted. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, definitely give them a chance. More
