Because of the issues on my original order they gave me a great price on the 2 door that more than made up for loosening 2 doors and the automatic. After driving it now for a few days I’m very happy with the quality, price, and South Bay Ford (not so much for Ford Motor Company with their total lack of communication and ability to produce my original order) More

Overt oversights by the service crew on work done... every service request had problem. No regard for double checking work. leaving unstable vehicle..after repairs...broke down across from dealership hours later (3 hours) whoops they forgot to replace a dead battery after having it 4 four days. Veghicle brought in for 3 things. 4 days 1 thing done. Vehicle was under full warranty worker noted power steering leak on work order. Did not fix it. Service manager never mentioned it to me. It was never fixed. Realized months later. Hanging with other customers for service is group therapy. The quality and longevity of Products are eyebrow raising. Sales people could not or would not sell me a vehicle twice would not take the time to run numbers made me wait for hours and failed to have a talk about new vehicle purchase. .. In return emails I received ....they begging for another chance as I told them they lost sale.... empty apologies. And now the mistruths they are flowing like Niagara Falls regarding the bronco 2021 reservation process is deplorable. This team can not even make up believable excuses for all their mistakes and illogic Oh our CRM system says we called.you on xx day at xx time... - anyone with 2 minutes can fact check their crm claims. I Checked my call details on phone bill... yup no calls. the crm system is inaccurate. Endless mistruths This dealership has proven to me... they will not have my back especially in repairs and they can not even close deals. How hard is it to sell someone a car... when they walk in knowing what they want AND with my own financing. When I brought up these ‘antic’ played by the sales team to the gm ...he could not comprehend what I was meaning by”saying finance games and antics.’ Expecting me to believe his factless illogical reasoning. .He thought he had an upper hand.... taking me as a fool. A week later I went to collect documents of the service jobs from South Bay for upcoming litigation and had brief conversation with Howard (previous phone conversation) now in person. A face to face conversation with him ..(he could not even look at me... oddly sat at his desk with his eyes closed 80% of the time) ....I see this is the Howard game. ultimately he raised his voice and reprimanded me,yelling that I was wrong as if I was a child. So gross. Regardless he was Unable to explain anyone one of their numerous mistakes that he and the sales team have made. does Fomoco have any idea this is the ‘’South Bay Ford’ treatment. This questionable dealership cost Ford at least a $65k sale. Go to a worthy dealership. Heed the warnings. More
I bought out my Lincoln lease yesterday and Kristopher Jensen the finance manager helped me - I planned on refinancing with my credit union - the next day when my credit union requested specific details o Jensen the finance manager helped me - I planned on refinancing with my credit union - the next day when my credit union requested specific details on the paperwork that I needed to change because of their policy I called Kristopher and he responded right away, re-did the paperwork the way the credit union wanted them, and he went above and beyond to help me. He was kind, explained everything in my language so I could understand it all and did it all in record time. I love my Lincoln when I leased it so I am buying it (Lincoln MKC)and he made this process so easy even when my credit union was difficult - he was happy to help, not just looking at me for a sale - That was so new to me - Thanks Kristopher Jensen! Final Update! Dealership has made our deal right. Repaired all issues and gave a loaner that was better then the car we purchased. Has been active and responsiv Dealership has made our deal right. Repaired all issues and gave a loaner that was better then the car we purchased. Has been active and responsive to issues and concerns. Adolfo made everything right and made us a bit more comfortable with our purchase and our family has finally begun to enjoy and love the explorer. I will recommend this dealership and give them a second chance just from the levels of concern and active responses and care they shown to ensure we where happy. ---------------------------------------------- Update: dealership has reached out and is attempting to make things right. Adolfo has helped get the explorer repaired. They have had it for about two weeks now replaced two axels and 2 wheels but it still shakes so it will be going back on Tuesday. They did give me a warranty but not the full term that was originally promised but take what you can get. Had to ask to get copy's of our purchase but got them when we came back to sign for the 4 year 52k mile warranty. ---------------------------------------------- Well our experience started out good. Walked around looked at some cars. Didn’t see what we want but then the sales men said he had something that was a lease return that hasn’t been checked in yet and shows it to us. We looked it up on the dealer website too see it’s photos it was listed at 32k. I asked if it was going to be certified used with 7yr/100k mike warranty and he stated yes since it’s 2018 and only has 21k miles. We end up having our baby the next day so we asked to hold it so we could purchase it. We did a credit application thinking we where getting the warranty and 32k price. Well dealership bait and switched us and wanted to charged 35k for the car and offered no warranty but wanted to charge me 4k for it. I ended having to make some calls to my ford board chairmen to get anywhere as we where just baited and switched by the shed car manager. Unfortunately dealer owner was on vacation so getting and form of help was out of question. Fast forward we now have had our credit pulled 13 times and the get the price to 32k. We then are forced to buy it as we don’t want anymore pulls on our credit. We get the car have It one night and it won’t start. Batteries exploded and corroded and after doing more look through there’s foreign objects inside my engine from the mechanic and nature. So it’s obvious no inspection was completed. After buying a new battery I text salesmen explaining situation and get nothing but rude response saying it’s my fault. I then call joe one of the managers and he states to bring it in for a new inspection. On my way I notice the SUV is wobbling all over the road. I bring it up and it turns out the new tires they put on it where not balanced. Not only did they give me a unsafe car for my new born child to get hurt in but they didn’t have any remorse. Now I’m hesitant to keep this car as I don’t trust it since obviously dealership doesn’t trust it and won’t warranty it. If your looking for a safe dealership go somewhere else. I can’t Believe dealership owner will operate a business this way or let his people bait and switch. I am giving the dealer owner a few days to reach out as my contact for the board said he would and if I don’t hear I’ll submit a complaint with the government for the bait and switch. More
Found vehicle on CarGurus and I was dealing on lowering the high price and I made several requests for a fair price to finalize the purchase. But the best they would reduce was $500 stating the don’t norm the high price and I made several requests for a fair price to finalize the purchase. But the best they would reduce was $500 stating the don’t normally reduce the price but did it for a favor to me. Then I find their same vehicle listed on their carsforsale page with the original price crossed out and a $3000 reduced price being listed! So I asked the salesman 2 days later if they had recently lowered the price and he said “he just checked and and the price is the same” and he was still trying to get me to pay the extra $3000!!! Very unhappy with entire interaction! More

I had an amazing purchase experience with Christopher Quinn ( The seller gentleman ) who is extremely knowledgeable and amazing person. So far this is the only place that they are not charging the extra 7k for the shortage of cars during this season. My car is amazing and I'm extremely happy with the service. Moreover, The financing for the vehicle was also a great experience. Overall, I recommend This FORD dealer for new a new purchase . In addition to buying the car, we got a lunch treat as they have small restaurant in the premises. It was just an amazing experience ! I'm very thankful to the whole staff at this FORD Dealer. More

Avoid this dealer, they lie to make the sale and then go radio silent. On August 15, I made a deal with one of their salesman over the phone to purchase a 2018 Ford expedition platinum, for nearly $75k. radio silent. On August 15, I made a deal with one of their salesman over the phone to purchase a 2018 Ford expedition platinum, for nearly $75k. The salesman assured me it had gone through a multi point inspection and was in perfect condition. He then delivered it to my home in Ventura county. We drove it (warm, he drove it up), it drove fine and we finished the deal. The next day, we started it cold in the driveway and it made a loud grinding/rattling noise. I called the salesman and he simply said “bring it in and we can take a look.” I told him we are a four hour round trip from the store and he said take it to a local ford store. The noise continued for a few days and we tried making an appointment with our local dealer but it took a week to get in at Simi Valley ford, and then the truck sat. A week later, they called and said the cam phasers are bad in the engine, they need to be replaced, they don’t have the parts and it will need to sit until they arrive. Simi Ford’s service advisor said this does happen on some eco boost models, is a known issue on there engines, and has likely been failing for quite some time. This is UNACCEPTABLE. Selling a top of the line vehicle for $75k represented as perfect with known engine damage is wrong. South Bay Ford’s salesman was either dishonest about the inspection, dishonest about the condition, or both. The noise is very loud. There is no way their people didn’t hear it on startup. I have since tried contacting them over the phone and email to rectify this situation. Zero response from the owner, president and sales manager. They literally ripped me off, sold me a damaged vehicle and now won’t even return my calls or emails. This is criminal behavior. It’s fraud, and I’ll be reporting them to the state. More
