OMG, in all of my years the worst auto repair experience thus far... The nightmare has gone on for over a month. Don't really know where to start so I will make it brief. After spending over 4 thousand dollars for what was to be "please fix my a/c" the truck spent 3.5 weeks in their shop "Nina" service advisor never called once. Finally truck was done after going so far as to call the owner of the dealership with no resolution. One day after truck was out of shop, no a/c another $690 car is ready. A couple days later no a/c. To make a long miserable story short took the truck to Victorville Dodge, the problem with a/c was the evaporater everything but that was replaced Victorville Dodge fixed and identified safety concern the battery was leaking acid and had leaked acid everywhere, you would think that would be identified on "inspection" which we were charged for as it could have been life threatening. Today went for coffee 12 miles from home and the truck over heated in 100 degree weather. Most interesting, the coolant system was addressed and new water pump installed at Soutars. I had my vehicle towed to their dealership because it broke down on the interstate near them. They had to replace the motor. I live in Las Vegas Nevada - 150 miles away. During the repair I had some issues with the rental car I was provided and delt with Nina for the most part. she was less than amocable and indeed plain NOT NICE. In order to get a few questions answered I went to my local dealership and had their people contact them and see what was up. My service writer locally told me that she was being less than cooperative and not nice when dealing with him. A week later I picked up my vehicle from the dealership. It was dirty but running. I can't believe that they didn't even wipe their fingerprints off the vehicle before giving it back to me - but I'll live with it. Now I leave to go on vacation; I get 100 miles away and I get a check engin light. I call the dealership and speak with John in service, he has me check a few things and tells me that it is probably a sensor and to go on my trip and take it to my local dealer when I get home. I took it to my dealer and they told me it was a bad EGR valve. When they went to replace it, the egr valve was good but they had put in the WRONG ENGINE!! They put in a NON-EGR engine!! You can not tell me that the mechanic doing the work didn't know what was up, or the service manager or someone. Now I have another rental car that is costing me more money, no use of my vehicle and a pain in the butt to try to get the original repair done right! More
