Took my Ram in as running erratic and check engine codes coming on and off. Turbo also intermittent. Was given an estimate of over $1800 to fix and oil leak. They said oil getting into ECM. I was charged $95 for a diagnosis and took the truck. Found a loose battery terminal was causing problem. I tightened it and no more issue. Still not a single drop of oil in driveway? I asked for my $95 diagnostic payment back. Service manager said his manager would call me. After following up several weeks no call. Be warned about this dealership. Had I not been careful I would have paid $1800 plus and still not had truck fixed. I would rate them negative 5 stars if it let me. Really a terrible experience. Purchased a 2022 Jeep. At 150 miles CHECK ENGINE light went on. Had to bring it back, an hour drive each way, service "fixed" the issue. However, since then the Jeep has had ANOTHER ISSUE at 1,500 miles. In the meantime I submitted a customer service review to Jeep regarding my experience with the dealership. In it I communicated my displeasure with the poor communication and customer service we received during the process of purchasing the vehicle and having the repairs performed. Not discussed during the purchase was $5,000 (aprox) extended warranty, $995.00 insurance coverage and another aprox $700 for an anti theft device. The contract specified payment of the purchase deposit, but I was contacted on multiple occasions with demands for payment outside of the contract terms. Additionally, we were never shown how to use the features available in the vehicle. When requesting service Eric was dismissive, unprofessional, would hang up and could provide no specific information regarding how long the service/diagnostic would take. Now because of my customer service review the dealership refuses, yes refuses, to work on the other issue that was present when we purchased the Jeep. This is fine as I would not trust their service department to work on it. Their reaction to a poor customer service review is to provide even poorer customer service, they did not want to hear about the reasons for my ratings and review. This I believe speaks volumes. They don't want to change and don't care about the quality of service of vehicle they sell you. Rather they, one day before the service appointment scheduled a week ago, called and said they would not work on the vehicle. THE VEHICLE THEY SOLD ME WITH A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AT 150 MILES AND MALFUNCTIONING AUTO SHUT OFF AT 1,500 MILES. Take the drive to Stockton or Modesto, or better yet buy your Jeep online like most of my friends have. DO NOT BUY OR HAVE YOUR JEEP SERVICED AT SONORA JEEP. More
I had the best care and service at Sonora Chrysler & Jeep. Aric & Anthony worked with me, kept me updated on my jeep ,Anthony always responded to me calls and text right away. Bought a 2021 grand Cherokee Trailhawk this year. Tow hitch wasn’t assembled right and I got to listen to metal on metal clanking for almost 2 months. I thought it was the license plate cover and kept replacing it and putting in spacers and rubber liners, then I figured out the issue and had them fix it. While the mechanic is fixing it he cracks a joke and says wherever you bought this from they did some shady work, well my friend it was your dealership I bought it from so I guess the joke is on the both of us…… crickets. Driving down the highway car says it’s in drive, but hit the gas and it comes to a rolling stop, today shifts into 3rd without me touching anything but the bottom of the steering wheel. AC makes a noise like it’s building pressure and releases a loud pressurized hiss that’s louder than the radio, it’s going in for the second time for that tomorrow. Tried to speak politely w the manager who was nothing but rude and when I asked them why should I have to keep finding rides or rent a vehicle when a brand new vehicle you just sold me is constantly having issues. Our owner doesn’t do loaners so it’s not our problem……. YES, yes it is definitely your problem. You are selling brand new cars to people like me that live paycheck to paycheck I trusted your company to sell me a new vehicle to safely take my family around and get to work. You sold me a headache and could care less about it. I was excited to be apart of the Jeep family for the first time, now I’m disgusted w Jeep as a company and your dealership for the level of unprofessionalism you have shown me as a customer. It’s funny now that before I purchased a jeep people warned me don’t do it and I didn’t want to believe them I like to give things a chance and let my experience be the judge, well now here I am and all I can say is I should have listened. More
