I drive the approximate 50 miles each way to Smithtown Volkswagen for my service, even though there are two VW dealers very close to me in Brooklyn. I drive the approximate 100 miles back and forth because Smithtown Volkswagen's customer service is far and beyond what I have experienced with any other car dealer. My last service was right after a holiday and the dealership was very busy, but my service experience was outstanding, everyone I delt with that day took the time to make me feel welcome, and they updated me continuously. It is obvious to me that the owners and management of Smithtown Volkswagen take care of their employees by the happy and professional way I am treated by everyone, from the showroom receptionist to the staff that take keys and car. As an example, each time I bring my Passat in for service, my salesman from years ago, Adam, greets me if he is working that day, and afterwards he he goes out of his way to inquire if everything is Ok and if I had any issues or complaints, I've never experienced that level of care before. I can honestly state that at each and every service visit I leave knowing and assured my vehicle is safe and everything is within specs because of Smithtown VW's commitment to excellence. Everyone's caring attitude and professionalism is apparent, during my last two service visits I was helped by Stephanie. Stephanie should be noticed by management as the professional she is, Stephanie's troubleshooting skill is phenomenal, during both intake processes, she correctly diagnosed the issues before the mechanics even looked at the vehicle by her drilling down and probing questions. Moreover, Stephanie took the added time to explain everything to me in away that I understood. The simple fact is I drive all those extra miles because I trust my vehicle and my safety to Smithtown Volkswagen, and that simple fact states more than anything I can write. More
