Very good service, personnel but premises need an update Smithtown VW was able to book a service appointment promptly for my expiring NYS inspection sticker, plus a a few minor items, while my local dealer i Smithtown VW was able to book a service appointment promptly for my expiring NYS inspection sticker, plus a a few minor items, while my local dealer in Riverhead was quoting 3 weeks for an appointment. My first impression of the service department was that the place looked run down, but the service manager, Anthony Piccolo, made up for it. I think the dealership would benefit from investing in improving the appearance of the service area office, the service area itself, and the customer waiting room. On a side note, the service manager was _incredibly_ polite with a customer who was making pretty unreasonable demands. He deserves a medal for his patience. More
