No nonsense, salesmen are authorized to make deals instead of playing the waiting game of getting manager approvals, and I got a I got a great deal using my Costco membership. I still believe that these guys would have given me a fair price with or without a Costco or AAA card. Of the many options including Toyota financing, they arranged the most cost effective financing for me (which ended up NOT being Toyota's current finance program). No pressure from the Finance manager but she did show me all of my options for add ons to the car. I had an alarm and remote start installed through this dealer and was given very fair pricing. Overall, the best car buying experience I have had so far. This dealership is 30 miles from my home, but it was worth every mile to find this "diamond in the rough." I highly recommend these guys. The sales manager, Anthony was nice though, and told me to check the newspaper at Huntington Toyota to check the price and he'll match it.We decided to buy a car there,they told us that smithtown toyota locked us out of our credit and told us we weren't eligible to buy a used car, only a new one. Overall the experience was a nightmare, and they continued to call, threatening that she would make us regret that we went to another dealership, and make it impossible to buy a car. She actually told my cousin not to bring me to the dealership with him, because i know how to get the good deals, i assume. But I did very strongly feel tat that she was being prejudice. I would never go back in my life. Before we made the deal, they gave us a hard time about getting out refund. The only reason we didn't buy a car there was because they didn't treat us right. WE ended up getting a new car at HUntington Toyota for less then the car she was trying to sell us. They were very kind, friendly, and courteous. Them I would recommend. More
After extensive research on hybrid vehicles, we decided to visit Smithtown Toyota to test drive the Prius. Throughout the entire sales experience, we were both impressed with Carolyn’s extensive knowledge of your vehicles and deep appreciation for customer satisfaction. Her bubbling personality and true professionalism helped sell us on the car. When we took delivery of the vehicle, we once again enjoyed Carolyn’s friendliness, extensive product knowledge, and customer service skills. When we noticed a scratch and another minor defect in the new vehicle, Carolyn immediately took ownership of the problems and made decisive corrective action for a future repair. We were very impressed away by how well she handled the situation. I’ve purchased 8 vehicles from Long Island dealerships in the past 5 years, and most of the time, the sales experience is miserable and filled with lots of nonsense. This was the first new car sales experience that I have ever had in which I enjoyed the entire transaction and felt 100% confident about my decision to purchase a new vehicle. Moreover, Carolyn has restored our faith in purchasing a new vehicle as our transaction was treated extremely fairly and with trust and respect. More
I purchased 3 Toyotas from Smithtown Toyota. I leased one Solara. I purchased one Solara and then I traded the Solara for the Camry. Last 2 purchases were from the same salesperson: Paul Varandas. Pau one Solara. I purchased one Solara and then I traded the Solara for the Camry. Last 2 purchases were from the same salesperson: Paul Varandas. Paul was knowledgeable and friendly and trustworthy. He is an asset to Smithtown Toyota. I recommended Smithtown to the parents of a co worker and they purchased a Camry. I also recommended Smithtown Toyota to my parents and they leased a 2010 Camry. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this dealership to others. More

However, my experiences with Smithtown Toyota have been such as to erase that fear in me, so much so that I recently returned to purchase my 6th automobile from them. Recently retired, I was set on treating myself well. With an Avalon in mind I sat and spoke, at length, with Guy Albergo, Sales Manager. We discussed whether or not I would be better served with a Camry XLE. The model we discussed would allow me to receive more options than I thought I could afford for a lower cost. Moreover, with the help of Karen D'Andrea and Carolyn Dunleavy, I was told that leasing that model would save me over a hundred dollars per month in payments. Now I ask you, if these "car dealers" really wanted to just make money off me would they have: 1) recommended a less expensive automobile, 2) given me more options that I thought I could get, and 3) informed me of leasing as apposed to purchasing, which made my payments lower ? I'll let you decide. More
One word comes to mind; Shady. Basically, after I signed, left a deposit, and was all ready to pick up my car, that I thought I had just bought, they call me up saying his manager didn't agree on a p signed, left a deposit, and was all ready to pick up my car, that I thought I had just bought, they call me up saying his manager didn't agree on a price I had already signed for. Meanwhile, I waited at least a half hour just to get approval from his boss via text message, who apparently was busy at a soccer game. Then they wanted to changed the price to $2,000 more than I signed for. They make offers they cant approve. More
All of the staff members at Smithtown Toyota were extremely helpful and friendly. My salesperson, Joe Riccio, in particular listened to my needs and addressed them. I bought a Camry and a Rav4 from Joe Riccio. I went in told him what I wanted in a car and he took me for a test drive in a Rav4. Offered me "options" of leasing vs buying. I went with the lease and got a great payment on a limited Rav4. I love my new car and I will always return to Smithtown Toyota. The whole transaction was enjoyable. There was no pressure to buy until I was set on the vehicle I could afford. I recommended Smithtown Toyota to 2 of my best friends, who also bought from Joe and they too feel the same way about Smithtown Toyota. More
After dealings with many rude people at other dealerships, mainly on the south shore, walking into Smithtown Toyota was an absolute pleasure. He did everything he could to make sure my husband and I walked out of the dealership happy and satisfied. I have aready recommended Smithtown Toyota to my friends, especially Dennis Grieco. I could not have asked for a better experience. I will most certainly go back to Smithtown again when I am ready for another car. The people there really were amazing and Dennis Grieco is the best salesman I have ever done business with. More
