I was really looking to buy a new car from a dealership closer to my home. My wife conivnced me to go try another dealership. There could be some better deals to be had. So, on a Sunday afternoon at 3:30, we pulled into Smithtown Toyota and were greeted by a smiling, friendly, and very helpful Hector Alvarez. We drove a car, and went home as they were closing for the day. Two days later, I get a call from Hector about a car that just came in. One week later, I was driving that car. Very low pressure environment. Hector and Mitch made the process very easy, and fast. Will DEFINITELY be buying from Hector again. I'll see him for a used Highlander in the next 3 years. I stopped at Smithtown Toyota to look at a pre owned Camry they had in the lot. I Was greeted by Richard who proceded to show me the car. It was a 2009 Camry in mint condition. Richard was very pleasant and informative, answered all my questions, and worked with me on the deal. I didn't have my truck that I was going to trade in so I made an appointment for the following day. On the way home, I stopped at a Nissan deatership to look at the Altimas and with all the incentives they were having, I wound up buying a new Altima. I felt compelled to write this review because I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Smithtown Toyota, they are friendly, professional, and not at all high pressure. If you do go there, see Richard, he was great. More

In the end, we decided to lease a great vehicle for a great price and even drove home the same day in our new vehicle. I was looking online to buy a Toyota Solara convertible when I found one at Smithtown Toyota. I called up and spoke with Rich and he told about the car. It was Red with a black top..just what I was looking when I found one at Smithtown Toyota. I called up and spoke with Rich and he told about the car. It was Red with a black top..just what I was looking for. We're very fussy about used cars having lots of dings and scratches. Rich went over the car and said that there were no dings but one scratch that he would get fixed. So we drove from Queens to Smithtown to see the car. It was just what I wanted. But the paint had water spots all over the car. He assured us that they would be able to polish them out. So we bought the car. The next day when we went to pick up the car the scratch was fixed but the car still had the water spots all over it. The car never was polished. Rich told us that he would make sure that the detailer would polish the car. He called us the next day and told us the car came out great so we went to pick it up. The car looked amazing and Rich was true to his word and made things right. We LOVE the car. It was a pleasure dealing with Smithtown Toyota and I would definitely buy another car from this dealership. More

For various reasons (none of which are reflective of the dealership in any way!), I was able to find the vehicle I was looking for closer to my home. Mr. Bruno was instrumental in ensuring that my refund was applied as promised, as well as offering his assistance should I require vehicle servicing or parts in the near future. Kudos to Mr. Bruno and Smithtown Toyota for their professionalism after our unfortunate misunderstanding. As a result, I would recommend them for any Toyota needs that you might have. More
I called Rich out of the blue ,from out of state ,looking for a truck he was advertising.Not only did he candidly answer my rather pointed questions ,but responded in good humour to my rather direct style.A for a truck he was advertising.Not only did he candidly answer my rather pointed questions ,but responded in good humour to my rather direct style.A little push/pull on price ballpark and it was agreed that I'd make the 2 hr trip down from CT that saturday and with a promise he wouldn't sell it before I got there.It would be cleaned/prepped and ready to drive off assuming I could pay for it.Neither of us fool around.I got there,got a hot cup of joe,a 5 minute test ride,10 minutes to deal,an hour to finalize the paperwork and registration.All this on a Saturday morning with DMV closing at noon.Love my truck Rich.2007 Tacoma X-runner.Call it my mid-life crisis,my little red wagon.Smithtown toyota will get you one too. This was by far the best dealership I have ever worked with. The easiest car I have ever bought and the customer service is outstanding! I already have an appointment for a 6 month check up and my oil c with. The easiest car I have ever bought and the customer service is outstanding! Last evening, after a long exasperating day of interacting with car salespeople, I decided to visit Smithtown Toyota, in Smithtown, NY. A lovely receptionist paged Ben, she offered me a coffee or tee, but Ben came over quickly.] I said to Ben, "Look it's been a day of people purposely giving me the incorrect information" , on a Prius III 2011 with Navigation. Of course, it all centered around the price that another dealer at put in writing (she was 20 miles further). We were walking towards his desk still. When we sat down at his desk he looked at the price. Said that he thinks it can be done. Said the two colors. I choose blue. He walked to his manager and came in a minute. YES SIgned paperwork. And 15 minutes later. I was on my way home. I would pick the new car up on the text day. Today. End More
