Have bought two vehicles from this dealer. Bought a Cadillac in 2010. Recently bought a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with 77K miles and paid $14,000. (top dollar for the year and miles)It drove nicely for the Cadillac in 2010. Recently bought a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 with 77K miles and paid $14,000. (top dollar for the year and miles)It drove nicely for the short 4 mile test drive (didn't dare go farther since there was very little gas in vehicle). Vehicle came with 30 day 2000 mile powertrain warranty. (50/50 coverage, i was to be responsible for half costs) Never heard of a warranty like this. The day I picked it up the vehicle exhibited transfer case problems. Half way home (some 9 miles from dealership) the service 4WD light came on and the transfer case was making terrible noises. Push button 4WD was jumping all over the place on its own. Pulled over to side of road and called dealership. Spoke with Brian (sales) and informed him of what happened. Pressed 2WD and took truck back to dealer. Was informed that transfer case control module was bad and dealer replaced at no expense to me, as it should be. Transfer case made noises afterwards and then finally broke completely on my way home from work three weeks later. Still inside of warranty and, as I feel, still related to the incident day of purchase or damaged by it. Was informed will need new transfer case and dealer considers it a separate issue from original problem and will only cover 50%. Discussed at legnth how I felt this was related but to no good. So let anyone who wants to buy a car from them beware. They will take care of something minor in the name of good will but not if it is something major, you are on you own. Will not be buying from them again. More

We were extremely pleased to deal with our salesman (Larry Walker) who went above and beyond trying to locate the particular car we were interessted in and his ability to locate a particular car for us that had all the specifics we were requesting. Needless to say, we will continue to say we will continue to refer Larry and Smith Ford to all our friends. More

Larry is the reason we always come back to purchase a Ford. We would not deal with any other associate of any other dealership due to Larry's upfront honesty and over the top service he has always provid Ford. Where ever he may be is where we will go to purchase our vehicle. We have been dealing with Larry only for almost 20 years. We tried another dealership in our area, but was taken advantage of on an extremely ridiculous level. Larry is the reason we traveled over 500 miles one way to buy the car we purchased in August 2012. And we wouldn't have it any other way. More
