I was looking for a Lexus GS so I stopped about 1:pm in the afternoon by to see what they had, I looked at the cars and was interested in speaking to someone about one of them but there was no one inside t the afternoon by to see what they had, I looked at the cars and was interested in speaking to someone about one of them but there was no one inside the office only a couple of guys working on an old truck in the garage that would not give me the time of day. I ended up going to a "real" Lexus dealer and was helped quickly. Further I am in the auto insurance field and was able to find visible signs of collision to both of the cars I was looking at , I assume that is why the prices seemed so reasonable. More

Salesman Jason was extremely unfriendly, rude and stuck up. I went up to look at a Jeep, called him on my way up and when I got there no one was there to greet me, I had to knock on the office doors asking up. I went up to look at a Jeep, called him on my way up and when I got there no one was there to greet me, I had to knock on the office doors asking for someone to help me. Jason is a jerk! He was unhappy to answer any of the questions I had, and was more concerned about his own agenda than helping me. He spoke to me with a harsh tone and acted very impatient with me when I asked what I thought to be basic questions when considering buying a used vehicle. I had a terrible experience and would never reccommend this dealer to anyone. Especially Jason, he is an absolute jerk. More
Just like so many other reviewers... I was talked down to, got the feeling "I" was wasting their time! I would never buy a car from them. I will never step foot in their dealership again. Rude and condesc to, got the feeling "I" was wasting their time! I would never buy a car from them. I will never step foot in their dealership again. Rude and condescending. How they sell any cars at all is beyond me. They'll be out of business before long... Mark my words. You can't treat potential customers like that and expect them to keep coming in. Eventually it will catch up to them. Mine is now the opportunity to wait and watch as the business imploded. Who knows how long... But I GUARANTEE YOU THEY WILL BE OUT OF BUSINESS BEFORE LONG!!!!! Rustin Smith assured me that the accident was a mere fender bender, I said OK and gave him a depoist of $500. Rustin was to provide info to me regarding the detail of the accident along with an accident verifying what he told me. He told me the car came from a loaner program at the Lexus Las vegas dealer. He also stated that he had worked for Lexus for many years and it should not be a problem to get the report on the accident Rustin did not provide the info, so therefore I did not buy the car, he did not refund the money. When I called on Sept 24 and asked for a refund of the deposit he said too bad I said where is the info on the accident report, he did not have an answer. So I explained to him I would do what I could to get the deposit back. not a good dealer to work with. More
I only wish there were negative numbers I could give this dealership. I am currently undergoing legal issues with SFA for their consistent deception. From the customer service to the quiality of vehicles and dealership. I am currently undergoing legal issues with SFA for their consistent deception. From the customer service to the quiality of vehicles and work, I'd have to say that dealing with them was and still is the worst consumer experience I've had yet. I have TWICE tried to get out of the deal without using legal means and Rustyn (the manager) has TWICE told me I could get out of the deal and TWICE renegged once I arrived ready to get my money back, even once literally telling me I was "S**t out of luck". Shady dealings are happening here. If you love having a sour taste in your mouth, by all means buy a car from here. But for quality service and salesmanship just about any place else will do. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE!!!! More
We bought a Toyota Sienna minivan from Smith Family Motors. Once we decided to purchase the vehicle, we were done with the paperwork in 10 minutes. There was no high pressure sales tactics or upselling used. The car was an outstanding price and a great deal for the money. We shopped around a bit before this purchase and their prices are much lower than other dealerships. The staff was friendly, professional and courteous. They were also very knowledgeable about the products they sell. They have a mechanic on sight that is also very knowledge about the Toyota and Lexus lines. We have been very pleased with the work they have done on our car. We do recommend this dealership to everyone we know because we had such a positive experience working with their staff. More
I have a concern with the Smith Family Motors used car dealership in Draper, UT. (www.smithfamilymotors.com) They, like many car dealers nowadays, require a copy of a driver's license prior to test drivin dealership in Draper, UT. (www.smithfamilymotors.com) They, like many car dealers nowadays, require a copy of a driver's license prior to test driving a vehicle. While that practice has always bothered me and I have complied with the requirement in the past, I have always asked to have the copy of my driver's license returned when a test drive is completed and never been refused. In this case however, Rustyn Smith of Smith Family Motors flat out refused to return the copy of my driver's license. He clearly stated that as a matter of standard business practice, they keep a file of all driver's licenses they collect. I see no valid business reason for doing so. What are they doing with all those driver's license copies and the information they contain? I am extremely concerned about this for obvious reasons regarding identity theft and unauthorized credit history probing. More

We have been looking to purchase a white Lexus IS F as a company car for me. I’m the president of a successful business. Today we saw on AutoTrader.com that Smith Family Motors had one on the lot. I drove up with an employee who owned an older Lexus with 80,000 miles on it. I myself have owned a Lexus before and both of us were very excited to finally test drive and hopefully purchase an IS F. Driving 50 miles, upon our arrival and having asked the only visible salesperson if he could get the keys for a test drive, he came out, unlocked and opened the doors and said, “No one is allowed to drive this car.” “Why not?” I asked. “Because it’s an IS F.” We were just shocked. I even asked, “Could you drive it for a test drive?” “No”. We drove off and then turned back around. We entered the building and asked for the owner. Sure enough, the salesman was the owner. He started to explain that he thought we had just finished test driving one of their “older” Lexus and had assumed we couldn’t possibly afford the IS F. After some back and forth one of his employees thought he was so smart and claimed we were “jerks”. I’m pretty sure most people having driven 50 miles in excitement would be as shocked as we were to be told three different times, “No you can’t test drive this car.” How hard would it have been to say, “We are very selective who can test drive this IS F. It’s an incredible and legitimate muscle car. Have you ever driven one before?” He then could have asked a few more questions to find out if we could afford the car. How hard would it have been when we returned to apologize and defuse the situation? Instead he insulted us. Instead of being rewarded for our brand loyalty, we were profiled and treated rudely. I have looked and test driven Mercedes, BMWs and other cars much more valuable than their Lexus IS F at $48,000. Not one car salesman at those lots has been rude. Sad to say if I could have test driven there IS F, our company probably would have paid cash and purchased the car. Instead, we will look elsewhere. I’d also like to say that their selection at auction must undergo the same lack of perception. Three of the four rims have been demolished by the previous owner and should be replaced before anyone willing and able to pay their high price drives it off the lot. They are also asking thousands more for a car that has almost double the mileage we are seeing nationally on 2008 IS Fs for their asking price. More
