We had to take my truck in for a recall. The customer service at this store is horrible. First off , they initially told me it would take 6 hours. It ended up being over night. I called and left messages and never heard back for 4 hours call again and they finally told me I could pick my car up at the end of day 2. When I came to return my loaner vehicle which I was lucky enough to get they were going to make me pay to fill up the vehicle which when they handed me the keys they mentioned nothing about filling up the truck with gas (not in paperwork either). When I mentioned they didn't even tell me the two receptionists started speaking to one another in another language behind the counter. Last when I get into my truck someone's used cold del taco cup was in my truck (left from one of the workers). I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP. More

I elected to wait, and the estimated wait time ran longer than quoted, which was not a problem because it was my decision. A clean waiting room with wifi allowed me to do my work and plenty of coffee and wat than quoted, which was not a problem because it was my decision. Although I DID get my oil changed, pretty straight-forward, here's the other thing that happened on my 2-7-23 visit to Simpson. After being told that my deflating tire could not be patched straight-forward, here's the other thing that happened on my 2-7-23 visit to Simpson. After being told that my deflating tire could not be patched here, they proceeded to rotate the BAD tire from the back to the front, putting me in a situation where my tire could have BLOWN out on the highway! I had to pump it up just to get to the dealership this morning!!!!! They also recommended to me a place around the corner, and when I arrived they told me it would be AT LEAST 3 hours before they could even look at it. So guess WHERE I wound up? WALMART!, YES< WALMART! They looked at the tire and told me it could not be fixed as the metal object in it was OVER AN INCH WIDE! I wound up buying tires at Walmart. They took me in RIGHT AWAY!!! My tire had been deflating the entire time!!! RECAP: SIMPSON sent me on my way with a DANGEROUS situation putting a bad tire on the FRONT of my car! At Least offering to change the bad one for the spare, would have been the DECENT thing to do! More
Check engine light came on in my 2017 Volt when I was in California for Thanksgiving. Also heard strange noise from the gasoline engine. I had to fly back to Arizona on Saturday morning and my daughter dropped the car off there for me. I was afraid to drive it home because of the engine noise. Tuesday James Simpson calls me and says they couldn't find anything wrong with the engine but "Did you know your center display is blank?". I told him it was working when the car was dropped off. Tell me it needs a new human machine interface control module (HMI module), it will cost $1520 plus tax, AND that there are none available and they have no idea if or even when they might be. Now I'm in Arizona 400 miles away and hearing all this on the phone. I have no idea what's going on so I have my son go pick up the car and get it out of there. Had to pay $125 diagnostic fee. A few weeks later I take my flat bed trailer and pickup, drive over to California to pick up the car because I am afraid to drive it. 800 mile round trip. After I get it home I have a car with no center display, no way to control several functions, the radio doesn't work, and the driver's window keeps going down by itself. I can't even drive the thing. BUT....when I finally looked at the invoice I see they performed a software update that I neither requested or was even informed was done. I never approved the update and they never asked me! Simpson Chevrolet service department is inept at best and a bunch of crooks! The screwed up my car, won't admit or take responsibility for it, and caused me a two day round trip just to go pick up my car, and left me with a car that needs a part that is not available. NEVER go here for anything! More
When I was looking for a new 2023 Bolt EUV, it was extremely hard to find a dealer who had the vehicle/specs I was looking for. They didn't charge any ridiculous "market adjustment" or "regional dealer fee" that I've seen so many dealerships adding onto the MSRP's of their vehicles. Randy Pitter and Cesar Quezada made the process so quick and seamless that I honestly couldn't believe buying a car could be so easy. I flew out to California from Arizona to pick up the car, and they even sent an Uber to the airport to pick me up!! Throughout the whole process, Randy and Cesar kept in constant communication with me via text. As an out-of-state buyer, this was so incredibly appreciated. Thanks guys!! You're seriously the best! Had my truck in for warranty def system repair and 3 months later system failed again and they want to charge me for it. They don’t stand by the work they do. 100% crooks.
