I recently purchased a Chevrolet Captiva from Simms Chevrolet and had a wonderful, very good experience. I had totaled out my previous Saturn and went looking for another one to replace it. The Simms manager, Doug Stanley, suggested I might want to look at the 2012 Chevy Captiva, which is similar to the Saturn Vue, but a new model and much improved. Then the great salesman, Eric Johnson, showed me the vehicle and encouraged me to drive it. A long story short! I bought the Captiva, am very happy with it and especially happy with the interest and concern and help from Simms Chevrolet. Asked for all the fee's up front. Salesman was very misleading over the phone. After arriving, found out about a $499 DIC (Dealer Incursion Cost) that was NOT mentioned on the phone. The sales man sa misleading over the phone. After arriving, found out about a $499 DIC (Dealer Incursion Cost) that was NOT mentioned on the phone. The sales man said "we have nothing to hide" over the phone. I guess nothing to hide except a 500 dollar fee that he forgot to mention before we drove over an hour to attempt to buy the car. Very misleading and unethical. I will never buy a car from Simms Chevrolet and will encourage others to assist me in the free advertising of the dealership. More
