I initially brought my car in for the 10,000-mile oil change and inquired about a second key fob and two service recalls. I was advised to make an appointment, which I scheduled for the following Monday change and inquired about a second key fob and two service recalls. I was advised to make an appointment, which I scheduled for the following Monday at 10 am. I arrived at 9:45, and they assured me they would complete the services and call me when it was done. About three hours later, I received a call saying they could only complete the engine update, as the key fob wasn’t available and the necessary parts for the recalls weren’t on hand. I don’t understand why the service department didn’t ensure they had the parts before scheduling the appointment. The service representative promised to call me within a week to set up a new appointment, but over a week has passed with no follow-up call or rescheduled appointment. I am deeply disappointed with the new ownership at Alamo Toyota and will no longer bring my car here for service or consider purchasing future vehicles. More

Would have purchased the truck we went in for, but they had a “VIP” charge of $3700 they tacked on top of the list price they wouldn’t budge on. The manager said it’s on the website. I had my oil changed at this facility and they forgot to replace the Phil cap when they were done. I caught this approximately a week later return to the dealership and pointed that out to the same service replace the Phil cap when they were done. I caught this approximately a week later return to the dealership and pointed that out to the same service writer that had originally supported me. She took the vehicle back to the technician that had provided the oil change that same time and he stated that he had forgotten to put it on, but did not advise anybody of the mistake nor owned the mistake he had made. The cap was replaced the vehicle versus returned to me with oily handprints on the fender, for he obviously had leaned over to examine where he had forgotten to put the fill cap returning the vehicle with me with two clear handprints on the fender, oily black was a testimony to the attention of detail that they currently possess at this facility. This is very disappointing. I asked the service technician to ensure that these notes were added into my field under my file for all the service that I’ve done. This was by far the worst. More
