On Thursday afternoon I was able to schedule an appointment for Friday at 10AM. This was my first visit to the dealer, but the intake was quick and efficient. While waiting I had a cup of coffee and looked at a new Venza (maybe next year). I brought the car in for an oil change and a recall that should take two hours. The car was ready on time. Despite efficiency, every employee I interacted with took as much time as needed to answer my questions and address my concerns. I would go back to this dealer and recommend it to others. More
I made an appointment the other day for service on my 2001 Toyota Rav-4. I took my car into Shore Toyota today (Thursday January 5, 2011. She did ask me if I wanted to schedule another appoinment for routine service. I declined the offer, but told Lori, I may call at a later date to schedule service. I made an appointment on the internet with Shore Toyota, and was able to be taken and confirmed on the internet the same afternoon, which i thought was outstanding. When I got there my service agent was out and was able to be taken and confirmed on the internet the same afternoon, which i thought was outstanding. When I got there my service agent was out to lunch, and Lori Reynolds took it upon herself to assist me. She told me exactly what was being done to my Venza. While my car was in service, I asked Lori that after the car was returned, could she possibly help me with setting up the bluetooth. With no hesitation she absolutely agreed to walk me through the process. I knew that she was busy, and might not be able to do it, but she stopped everything and did an outstanding job. Her committment to the customer and Shore Toyota was the best service experience that i have ever had. I also told the service manager that if she does not get a pay raise, i will personally hire her. Keep up the good work. On another note, when I purchased the car last August, my salesman, Kori could not have been better. He was very professional and knew his product. Thank You... Shore Toyota needs to focus on managing a customers expectations on waiting for service. For example, if a 5K service for a certain model on the average takes 1.5 hours there should be some feedback to expectations on waiting for service. Also, as I arrived at 0940 for a 0945 appointment the info written on the work sheet was 9:58a., seems to be a little off. My understanding is that the company has detailed information about how long on the average a certain work order will be in the shop. This needs to be conveyed to the customer. Also, there could be in "real time" the average wait time posted in the waiting room. The last time I was there, before this one on 5 Jan, I waited over 10 minutes for the gentleman to get off the phone, however if it rang he answered it immediately. He was as he said "talking with a friend". That is vs a customer? Glad to talk with an Executive if requested. Also it is not the fault of the employee. MILLARD, MY SERVICE MANAGER, IS A TRUE REPRESENTTAIVE OF THE TOYOTA NAME. HE'S FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT, AND CARING. HE IS THE REASON MY GOOD RATINGS WERE, IN FACT, GOOD. THE CAR IS ALWAYS REPAIRED THE TOYOTA NAME. HE'S FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT, AND CARING. HE IS THE REASON MY GOOD RATINGS WERE, IN FACT, GOOD. THE CAR IS ALWAYS REPAIRED CORRECTLY AND ANY NEEDS i HAVE NOT HIGHLIGHTED ARE BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION. MILLARD TELLS ME WHEN THINGS MUST BE REPAIRED AS OPPOSED THOSE ITEMS WHICH CAN WAIT. BY THE TIME HE CAUGHT ON TO THE FACT THAT I WAS STILL WAITING, THE REPAIRS WERE ALMOST DONE. 3. THE SERVICE MANAGERS WORK IN AN AREA THAT IS BOTH NON-CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AND NON-MANAGER FRIENDLY. CUSTOMERS HAVE TO CROSS INTO THE SERVICE ENTRY AREA TO ACCESS THE WAITING ROOM. IF THERE'S A LINE OF PEOPLE, IT EXTENDS INTO AN AREA MEANT FOR CARS. SERVICE MANAGERS WORK IN CRAMPED SPACES AMID A LOT OF NOISE, CAR AND PEOPLE TRAFFIC. tHE AREA NEEDS TO UPDATED AND MODERNIZED. WHY DO I LIKE THE DEALERSHIP.
