I Love the CRV we got from them.My problem is with the mechanics working for them. the car wasnt idleing right and Check Engine light came on so i bought it in. They tell me Dont worry about it keep driving around it will go off. Meanwile they hooked it up and didnt tell me the reason. I bought it to a buddy of mine at autozone to hook it and tell the reason behind the light. Turns out it was a miss fire and i needed a tune up. Did it myself. THEN We bring it back to them for our free oil change and an inspection. passed, but after we got it home there was an out headlight and dirty oil still on the dipstick. Like I said LOVE the car but the Maintainence post buy SUCKS! More
Purchased a 02 Sonata with 2 Recalls involving the subframe. Car also had a prior accident. I was told that the vehicle was safe because I have a daughter and safety is a concern. Not to mention a place that takes more than 5 times to fix wiper blades than I would think that there is something really wrong there because my daughter could figure that out! More
Bought a car had to bring it back three times, still having problems. Everytime I bring it in have to miss work and don't get paid. last summer i bought a bike from them and have had a headache ever since. the price tag said 1000 and they slaped another 500 bucks on in extra fees. the bike seemed cool i was told it had a great warra headache ever since. the price tag said 1000 and they slaped another 500 bucks on in extra fees. the bike seemed cool i was told it had a great warranty which turned out to be six month's. and also i was told it was a reliable bike. i had my first problem at 3 miles because they dident assemble it right and since then something broke every time i took it out. anyway im a mechanic so the first few times i fixed it myself and then started brining it back there after the tire broke off driving down the road almost killing me after bringing it back there four times in a month i asked for my money back on this lemon and they said no. they spent a week checking the bike out and gave it back saying no more problems and it caught on fire from a badly placed fuel line on the way home they fixed it and i decided to take it for a long ride to see if it would be alright and the engine seized. i brought it back where they let it sit intill the warranty expired. i am now at the point where they wont give me back my money and they actually expect me to pay for a new engine for a bike that is sitting there with only 300 miles on it im pised More
By chance we stopped into shirley auto group we werent going to buy a car,we were just looking.When we drove in i told my wife to stay in the car.I was greeted by the sales man Dave with a pleasent hello going to buy a car,we were just looking.When we drove in i told my wife to stay in the car.I was greeted by the sales man Dave with a pleasent hello and then a nice hand shake.I told dave i was just looking and he said no problem and showed me some cars and trucks.I then was introduced to Jerry the owner and he then ask how Dave treated me and if i seen anything i liked.I then didnt want to say yeah but the atmosphere of everyone being friendly it was pretty hard for me to be mean to these men.I then told then the truck i seen and told my wife to come take a look at it.Dave took us for a ride then back at the dealership Jerry did what he called a walk around and explained every feature about the truck.Never in my life had i ever been explained the details about a vehicle the way he did.Jerry was professional and dave stood by and listened to his boss at attention,me and my wife were in awe.We then went inside and jerry took our info and got us a great intrest rate with a credit union and took a down payment that was affordable for us and also got us a car payment that fit into our budget.He actually dropped the cars price so we could afford it.I truthfully was just looking but the way these two men treated me and my wife with respect it was actually very pleasurable to buy a car from shirley auto group.I recommend everyone to see jerry and dave. Just to add Auto World of Patchogue should take some sales lessons from these guys.Auto world is a disgrace. More
