Buying a car should be fun but the reality is it’s an inconvenience of adult life, Kevin and Jamie made the process as simple and stress free as possible. We live 6 hours from this dealership and do not have a local Honda dealer within 2 hours. SS Honda held the car for us with a deposit after providing extensive photos and verification of condition including services done to bring it up to specs for sale. I would 100% recommend you consider this dealership. Give Kevin or Jamie a call, I HIGHLY doubt you will regret it if you are in the market for a Honda. We worked with approximately 6 other dealers and they were all difficult one way or another, whether it was playing games or not being willing to hold a vehicle for us to commit to traveling. Very happy with the vehicle, thanks again Shingle Springs Honda, Kevin, and Jamie! John More

The salesman, Jamie, gave me the test drive and explained the features without any high pressure sales tactics. When it was time to negotiate a price, they varied from the usual car selling playbook in a good way. For example, they told me the invoice price without my asking for it. There wasn't a hand-off to a high pressure closer. After some back and forth, I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. I am happy with the deal. I suggest, of course, that you do your homework by researching the car and researching an excellent but fair price. Compared to other dealerships, Shingle Springs Honda is slightly more laid-back and casual. The showroom is not big and fancy like some other dealerships, but I don't care, the cars are the same. If I buy another Honda in the future, I will give Shingle Springs Honda first shot at my business. For me, it was worth the drive from Sacramento. More

With the non OEM windshields there are sensor alignment issues that most glass installers cannot fix. The Service department has been able to handle this quickly and the price is fair considering the cost of an OEM windshield which costs 2X. In my 3 years of routine service visits, all of the Staff members have been courteous and helpful. More
Service Manager Challenged Me to a Fight at 5:00 I am disappointed that I have to give a single star after the service manager Tom Flint called me a "p...y," and told me to meet him at 5:00 to fight I am disappointed that I have to give a single star after the service manager Tom Flint called me a "p...y," and told me to meet him at 5:00 to fight in the parking lot. This started when my 65 year old mother was in an accident and totaled her car a year after purchasing her car from Shingle Springs Honda. She was not sure where to take the car at 5:00 on a Sunday and called the dealership. My mother was concerned with voiding warranties and did not want to take the car to a non-certified repair shop in case it was not totaled, so when she called Honda of Shingle Springs the sales person expressed that they did not do body work but could assist her with getting it to a certified repair shop and directed her to have it towed to the dealership. The dealership service shop then called at 7:30 on Monday morning demanding to know when she was going to remove her vehicle from their lot and that they would not provide any assistance with finding a certified Honda repair shop. My mother responded by expressing dissatisfaction with their customer service. Then she detailed a number of other customer services complaints that she has had over the three visits to the service shop for routine maintenance, such as sending service coupons to my mom that in the fine print do not apply to her car. At which point the customer service manager expressed that he did not want her as a customer and would be charging her $50 a day to store her vehicle. After hearing how my mother was treated at the dealership where I take my car to be serviced and referred her to for her purchase, I went to the dealership to talk to the Service Manager and pick up my mother's car. When I expressed to the Service Manager Tom that it did not make good business sense to berate a customer who just totaled their vehicle, was in pain, and who followed his employees directions to bring the vehicle to the dealership. I also expressed that it did not make good business sense to lose two customers over a parking spot and in particular a customer who is probably in the market for a new car. This is when Tom expressed to me that my mother has a responsibility as a customer to be polite and that she was rude to his customer service employee and rude to his tow truck driver. My mother, who still slaps me at 37 if I cuss in front of her, will complain about customer service and especially when there is a satisfaction guarantee, but would never be rude. The tow truck driver took 90 minutes to go 40 miles and had to call my mother at every intersection from Placerville to Latrobe to ask which way to go even though she gave him full directions in the first conversation. He then completed the paper work to show he went a longer way because he wasn't able to find on his smart phone the direct route my mother gave him. Apparently it was rude of her to complain that the paperwork she was given was not accurate. At this point, I was so shocked by this custom service response to someone with a new car from their dealership, who may need a new vehicle, that I expressed to Tom that he was useless and that since he wasn't going to do anything to resolve the situation I would be leaving. Tom then gave me a huge smile and told me to have "great day." I responded to this by cussing him out. At this point, he decided it would be in his best interest to challenge me to a fight after work. The only resolution that was needed was for the service employee or the manager to apologize for the sales person who gave her bad information and to show some sympathy to a 65 year old grandmother, who just totaled her vehicle and was in pain. Maybe offer to have the car towed to a body shop of her choosing since she had HondaCare free towing. Instead the employee and manager chose to escalate the issue to prove they were right because that was more important than taking any criticism from a customer. N I bought my 2017 honda accord from here!! I brought it in for the first service, I was told that my front passenger tire had 2 puncture holes in it. Not fixable. I would need new tire. 300.00 for a replacement. The service lady told me they had to order it or I would have bought it right then. Next I thought I'll take it to les Schwab see if they can fix it. The spent hours looking in all 4 tires finding nothing!!!! I called Dave the gm, he was completely rude and said les scwab missed it. He also hung up on me. I'm in a customer service job myself and I can't believe he still has a job. This place tried to rip me off after I spent 25,000.00 on a car. Never go here!!!! More
