He is new and will tell you anything and doesn't know what he's talking about. Everyone there treat you like you're a moron and is rude and pushy. I tried to get straight answers about a car and no one would tell me the truth. I even called the general manager call Dave Wardlow and he couldn't care less. I guess when you have a staff led by a manager that doesn't care you get a whole bunch of people that don't care. If you want to be treated badly then this is the place for you. I will never return to this dealership More
Don't waste your time. Bad customer service Long story short I had this guy Eric help me pick out a vehicle. I was gonna come back the next week to finalize the paperwork. No one knows where he is and then one guy says to me to follow him. He goes into this dark creepy room and shuts the door on me. Hes in the dark creepy room having about a 5 minute conversation while I'm waiting and getting irritated. Then he finally says that he's not here. So then I ask when I can come back. He tells me in two days. I show up and ask for him and one of the workers doesn't even know who Eric is and aska me for his last name. If you dont know his first name how is his last name gonna help and i dont know that. Maybe you shiuld know youre employees. Now really irritated, this nice lady says oh Eric, he won't be here until later. So he was supposed to be there all week and I missed him twice because he was off or whatever. Im just not gonna bother and go elsewhere with my business More
Best car purchase experience we've ever had My wife and I just bought a new 2017 Honda Accord from Shingle Springs Honda. I don't leave reviews often but I had such a great experience I felt it My wife and I just bought a new 2017 Honda Accord from Shingle Springs Honda. I don't leave reviews often but I had such a great experience I felt it was worth sharing. We live in Folsom and my wife had a very bad experience with our local Honda dealer when she stopped in for a test drive. They basically told her she couldn't test drive unless she was ready to buy right then and there. I ended up contacting a few other Honda dealers online and found that Shingle Springs Honda was the most responsive and very friendly. They answered all my questions and never pressured us. They had a great selection and their pricing was very competitive. Overall the level of service was something I'd never experienced with a dealership and I will recommend all of my friends and family who are shopping for a vehicle to consider Shingle Springs Honda. Low Integrity Crooks Pure And Simple I traded in a mint condition $115k Audi S8 with 80k miles that had expired registration and $2500 in back fees, the track tires and wheels alone cost I traded in a mint condition $115k Audi S8 with 80k miles that had expired registration and $2500 in back fees, the track tires and wheels alone cost $8000. Book value was an easy $12,000, they said they would take care of that but could only "give" me $4500 because of that DMV expense "that they would be taking care of". So I needed the car for my wife's business so what the heck. They did not take care of the DMV fees and I am technically on the hook for them. I intend to take this to court as I can prove taking car of this was part of the deal, they had a dmv printout that showed the current liability at the time. Find another dealer, this one is low class. They also said it had a second key and didn't, refused to cover their cost of a new key fob. More
Bad customer care:Bad follow through with customer happy Long story short,I'm a newly single struggling mother. I'm honest, have integrity, and a hard worker and loving mother. I have morales and values and cl Long story short,I'm a newly single struggling mother. I'm honest, have integrity, and a hard worker and loving mother. I have morales and values and clearly understand the meaning of these qualities I speak of. With that being said I was blessed to have a 2011 Toyota corolla purchased for me by my parents, for $11,670( give or take some change) CASH. That was 3/1/2014. Nothing but problem after problem with this lemon, from the whistling brakes, corroded battery, alternator goes out, taillight out,all the lights on dash have come on,been on, or stayed on( from check engine light to the ABS light,to the battery light and a few others) I've NOW had to have it towed THREE times and been to two auto shops in addition to the service dept. at dealership. Tried to communicate and was hoping Dave, the GM ,could offer help/ solutions. WRONG. HE WAS rude condensending and basically said due to the attitude(more like frustration and despair) in my voice he did not want to help me. Now,this being the THIRD vehicle that my parents have gone to them for,I was hoping they valued our latest expirience enough to go the extra mile and help out. Am I CRAZY for expecting to pay $11670 CASH for a vehicle from a dealership, and NOT HAVE to take it back TWO weeks later for the first of many problems??? When supposedly the GM took a sec to think about how he treated me,he had his other mgr. contact us,I thought to help make this a deal that is right(ie: I pay them cash, they give me a car that is NOT a lemon). I was WRONG AGAIN. Sherri, in a nut shell and in so many words, said how does she know I DIDNT DO ANYTHING TO THE CAR to cause this headache!!! They did not in my opinion TAKE A stand for right,or bite the bullet to have a true customer for life!! They did the exact opposite and LOST a customer, and my expirience of grief for life . Needless to say,I sold the car, that was NOT running, and took a HUGE loss and driving a RENTAL, that I do not have the money to be spending on. LIVE AND LEARN. I WAS BURNED,AND FEEL totally ripped off. More
My vehicle was miss diagnosed by the service department for a vibration problem for which they wanted $850.00 to repair. Shingle Springs Honda believed the front axles were wore out on a vehicle with 90k for a vibration problem for which they wanted $850.00 to repair. Shingle Springs Honda believed the front axles were wore out on a vehicle with 90k miles on it. Come to find out the problem was caused by an overfilled transmission, which they overfilled during a service three months earlier and had nothing to do with the axels. When I talked to the service manager he told me he thought it was odd that the axles were bad, but did not stop or look into it. He tells me he never heard of this being a problem. I found on several internet sites saying that an over filled transmission causes the oil to expand, overheat and foam which causes the clutches to slip. After a week and one-half and three visits or phone calls they refunded my service fee, but not the fee for the other mechanic to correct the problem that they caused by over filling the transmission by 1 1/2 pints. My concern is that if they changed the axels and it did not fix the problem, next they would say the transmission needed to be gone through. They drain the oil, open the transmission, do what ever they do, replace the oil with the correct amout and the problem is solved costing me thousands of dollars. Scam or poor service...you decide. I delt with the Internet Sales dept. I got a quote from them which was very fair in my opinion. There were no "surprises" when I got to the dealership to complete the transaction. I had been asked to forwa them which was very fair in my opinion. There were no "surprises" when I got to the dealership to complete the transaction. I had been asked to forward my information to them so that they could get the paperwork ready, I got there and was out in 45 min. They also gave me a great deal on my accessories and the Honda Care warranty. Thanks again guys! I'll tell everyone about you. More
