Corey is the most knowledgeable sales person I have ever dealt with - I could not come up with a question that stumped him. No matter how foolish my questions sounded he took them in stride and made me fee dealt with - I could not come up with a question that stumped him. When I made a counter offer to the price - he gladly made the several trips back and forth to his manager until we reached an agreement. We have purchased several vehicles from the Shelor dealership and this is the 3rd Prius we have purchased from Pete Jones at Shelor. Pete is very easy to work with and worked hard to find the vehicle dealership and this is the 3rd Prius we have purchased from Pete Jones at Shelor. Pete is very easy to work with and worked hard to find the vehicle we were looking for at the price we were willing to pay. He does not pressure the customer but is always there to answer questions and assist in every way. We could have purchased the vehicle from another dealership that was much closer to us but because of our prior experience with Shelor and with Pete, we felt more comfortable working with Pete & Shelor. When we first considered a new Prius V, Pete was there to allow us to test drive - but did not pressure us. We were not quite ready at that time to purchase. After we considered it for a while & researched the prices and values for our old Prius's that we would trade in, we called Pete and told him what we might be interested in. He found it and came back to us quickly with the price and the offer for our trade-ins. At that time, we felt the price of the new one was reasonable but did not feel the trade-in offers were what we would expect so the difference was much more than we were willing to pay. We explained this to Pete and that we decided to just sell one of our Prius's and keep the other one for a while. After we advertised the one to sell, we had so much interest in it and people also expressed interest in our other Prius (which we did not intend to sell). We ended up selling both for $7000 more than the trade-in offer. We called Pete and he found the Prius V that we wanted and the price was reasonable so, we agreed to purchase it. He got it in within a day and we were able to close the deal. We have recommended Pete and Shelor to our friends. More
This was a pain-free experience in comparison with another experience of car-buying at a different Toyota dealership. Everything was explained well and I never felt pressured into buying something I another experience of car-buying at a different Toyota dealership. I gave the rating above that I did because Michael Rose was very helpful, answered all our questions, and was a pleasure to work with as I went through the very difficult process of deciding on which vehic was very helpful, answered all our questions, and was a pleasure to work with as I went through the very difficult process of deciding on which vehicle to get. He was patient, friendly, and spent the time necessary to help me in this process. This was a very big decision for me because I was looking for a vehicle different from what I have had in the past and that I was familiar with (Chevrolet). We looked at several there at Shelor Toyota as well as two other places. He did not pressure or try to push me into making a decision in anyway, which would have caused me to leave. He was great to work with. I highly recommend Mike Rose as a great salesman at Shelor Toyota to work with. More
This dealership is professional and welcoming. They greet you at the door and provide complementary refreshments, which is a nice touch. He gave out his personal cell phone number with the specific instructions to call him for absolutely question or anything he could help with, even on his days off. I had an unusual circumstance in regards to leasing a car, and Scott worked with me without any problems. He also kept me in the loop with all incentives and current discounts, which was very helpful. The only negative criticism I have for the dealership as a whole was getting a value for my traded car. I understand they need to make money too, but I feel my car was worth more (after referencing Kelley Blue Book) than what they paid me for it. More
I have been dealing with Shelor Toyota for many years now and keep returning to get my vehicles. This was the first time I have dealt with Corey but felt he did a good job of helping us. We test drove a few and keep returning to get my vehicles. This was the first time I have dealt with Corey but felt he did a good job of helping us. We test drove a few and decided on the 2012 Tundra. Even though he was very busy when we came to the lot he still showed us courteous and friendly service. Good job! More
My wife and I were originally headed to Shelor Kia to talk to Sue Wilburn about a Kia Optima but when we rode by the Shelor Toyota Scion lot, my wife wanted to stop and look at a Toyota Corolla on the fr talk to Sue Wilburn about a Kia Optima but when we rode by the Shelor Toyota Scion lot, my wife wanted to stop and look at a Toyota Corolla on the front of the lot. I know Scott from his previous job, so I asked for him. At the time, he was unavailable (with other customers) so another gentleman helped us out (sorry can't remember his name...still nice!) and got us the keys to drive the Corolla. We weren't real happy with it so when we got back Scott came out and met us. We told him what we didn't like and we were headed to see Sue at Kia. He did his best to get us to stay. My wife, at the time, had a Camry. So, in order for us to get back to her car, we had to walk through the lot of cars/trucks. Scott talked to us about another Camry and told us he could get us a really good deal on it (because of it being a 2012). My wife fell in love with it. Me being a 4 time Tacoma owner, I obviously didn't complain. We test drove it and she REALLY fell in love. After getting back to the lot, Sue had text her asking where we were. She advised her we had stopped at Toyota. Long story shorter...Sue ended up working with Scott and giving him all the paperwork she had already started for us. Scott persuaded us to stay on the Toyota lot and even purchase this brand new 2012 Camry! As another gentleman said in his review, I also felt like we were pressured during another purchase to buy extra warranty. This time (even with the same finance guy) it was not the same. Thank you Scott, Sue, Other Toyota Salesman and the Finance man (Pete?)!! More

We tried out a new 2012 Prius...he gave us some figures and we gave him some in return and we came to a deal. We traded and my wife decided she wanted to look at a new Camry Hybrid. We tried one out. Corey got us some figures together and after some negotiation, we decided to trade in her old Camry. We traded for two cars in one day...something we have never done before. Usually trading for a new car can be a bad experience, but Corey made this experience a joy. We would truly trade with Corey again...he made the experience so worth while. More

I must say that this time around was tremendously more pleasureable than the last. When we purchased our Jeep we had pressure from the finance folks to take out insurance and other options we really were not interested in and had to return to the dealership to take care of several different things that could have been handled better. We came in late one evening so we understood it was late in the day and even offered to return the next but was told repeatedly that it could be taken care of that evening so just hang in there. That eventaully resulted in us having to come by 2 more times to get things like the car detailed, the papers signed agian, and even have the vehicle simple gassed up!! Honestly I was very relucatant to come back for my Toyota and only did so because I saw one on the lot I was really interested in. This time however was much more pleasant. The sales guys were knowledgeable and heplful without being pushy. When came time to talk numbers I didn't feel like I was being worked over and I think I got a fair deal. And best of all we got it all taken care of in a reasonable time without any issues. The icing on the cake was when I realized floor mats were not in the car and called the guys back they quickly apologized and told me to stop back by......they would pull a set and have ready for me. Sure enough they did and I never even had to leave the car to pick them up. They brought them right to my car. So.....first time around with Shelor was a C-. This time was an A+. David Dove More
The sales staff is unfortunately sub-par. They lacked continuity and were poorly informed during the negotiation process. Sales Representative, Allyson, was not enjoyable to work with. John was more amia continuity and were poorly informed during the negotiation process. Sales Representative, Allyson, was not enjoyable to work with. John was more amiable and did not repeatedly misspeak as Allyson did. I feel their negotiation skills lack the minimal professionalism required for good customer service. The finance department was very kind; they were unfortunately very slow, but very informed on the legal matters of purchase, titles, and transfers. The staff in the service department was and is great. All the service departments maintain their reputation since my purchase. I appreciate that they are always friendly, professional, and timely.
