A special thanks to Nikki in the service department. My son was traveling through Virginia when his key broke in the door. Without a spare, needless to say my son was in a little predicament. She was very helpful and responded promptly to get him back on the road as soon as possible. She even provided him with a shuttle to his hotel where he could wait for the spare key to come in. As a parent 1,500 miles away I was limited in what I could do. It was comforting to know Shelor and Nikki were there helping him. Thank you, Nikki! More
Everyone at Shelor Toyota was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I knew what I was looking for when I went into the dealership. The car that I wanted was not available in this area, but my salesman, knowledgeable. I knew what I was looking for when I went into the dealership. The car that I wanted was not available in this area, but my salesman, Dustin, steered me in the direction of an even better option. Dustin and the other sales people answered all my questions and helped me through the process of leasing my car. After explaining the problem, and leaving our vehicle for repair, we get a call after 30 minutes saying the malfunction message I was seeing was normal. I had to return to the dealership to demonstrate the malfunction light. Also, and this must be the dealership policy, I had to agree to a $150.00 max diagnostic fee for them to look at it, which was not waived after I okayed them to repair the vehicle, so we had to pay $322 labor for a $89 part. Also, I called back while the vehicle was there to request additional work done and told a service person what I wanted done and that I wanted the service advisor to call me back.I’d called her number twice but she never answered and she didn’t answer the person I was talking too, either. Needless to say, We never got a callback. As it turned out the extra work didn’t get done, which, as it turns out, will save us a lot of money by having another garage do the work. Very disappointed that Shealor would treat their customers like that. More
