Excellent experience at Shaker Ford I was lucky to get "Kay" as my "Shaker" automotive representative. He never came across as pushy - no high-pressure sales tactics, no baloney sales talk. Just a good experience with a terrific rep who took the time to hear what I had to say, gave me appropriate suggestions, and sold me a great car that I'm happy to own. More

I had seen the vehicle I was interested in on the internet so I decided to stop by the Shaker dealership to check it out. I had never been to Shaker before and I had never spoken with anyone else who purchased a vehicle there so this was a completely new car buying experience for me with no expectations, good or bad. Before I walked into the showroom I noticed that the used truck I was interested in was still on the lot. That was a good sign. As I entered the showroom I was immediately impressed by its cleanliness and professional appearance. The large photographs displayed on the wall of the dealership give a spectrum of its 80 year history. I especially took note of the Ford GT sports car that seemed to dominate the entire floor with its sleek styling. Too bad it was not for sale! But it was a short distance from Cathy Reed’s desk. She helped answer my questions about the 2006 Isuzu i350 truck. She was quite knowledgeable about it and even recalled its trade in history quite vividly. She was very courteous, friendly and professional as she discussed the vehicle and later explained the purchasing process. Everyone I encountered in my short visit at Shaker was also very courteous, pleasant and professional. I would not only recommend doing business at Shaker Auto but I will also keep them in mind when I am ready to make my next purchase whether it be new or used. More

Long distance purchase without any difficulties!!! Save $4K! We just purchased a 2013 Certified Ford C-Max from Shaker Family Ford. We knew what we wanted, model, year, color, features, had taken a test drive a We just purchased a 2013 Certified Ford C-Max from Shaker Family Ford. We knew what we wanted, model, year, color, features, had taken a test drive and had been looking online. We could see that we could save some money if we bought outside of New York. We contacted two dealerships with basically the same vehicle for the same price in two different states. I wanted to come down, test drive the vehicle and buy it all the same day. The first dealership I called told me that we could not get it done in one visit. I called Shaker Faimly Ford and Courtney, the internet coordinator assurred me that it would be no problem. Our sales person James Cianciolo took great care of us when we got to the dealership. We test drove the vehicle, made sure there were no issues and he carefully explained all of the bells and whistles on the vehicle. Cindy Bugbee in finance was great to work and with some preliminary finance and insurance paperwork done before our visit, the entire process took 2 hours. We saved $4k. To top it off, it was a gorgeous drive over to Conneticut from upstate New York. Thank you! More

Having purchased my last new car from Shaker Ford (which we still own), I knew this was the dealer for me. My salesman Salvatore Catalano is first class, as is the finance officer Manny Pinho. These people really 'know their stuff', and made this car purchase easy and affordable! They took care of everything from the trade-in of my old vehicle and the transfer of registration and insurance, to the financing of my new car. I was in and out in a matter of a few hours, and extremely satisfied. I also must thank owner Ed Shaker and his family for giving me a great deal, and really treating me like family. Of course, I highly recommend Shaker Ford, and salesman Salvatore Catalano, to anyone looking to purchase their next car! More

completely disappointed I'm disgusted with the service department. After 2 months of having my 2013 escape, and repairing recalls, my front seat still isn't fixed, was told m I'm disgusted with the service department. After 2 months of having my 2013 escape, and repairing recalls, my front seat still isn't fixed, was told my warranty covers the airbag recall and my engine blowing up I'm left with a hazardous vehicle. Even though my lease is with shaker I will never use their service department again . I will never own another ford again. 18 years a ford customer and never again. They should drive their family in a car that still isn't safety satisfactory. I want my money back and a new car but Ford themselves said they won't satisfy my request. All done and would never recommend shaker family ford for anything. More
