Great First Experience! This was my first time buying from Shaker Ford. I saw a 2007 Explorer Sport Trac on the website that I wanted to replace my (sadly deer-totaled) 1999 This was my first time buying from Shaker Ford. I saw a 2007 Explorer Sport Trac on the website that I wanted to replace my (sadly deer-totaled) 1999 Ford Ranger with. When I called to set up a test drive, James Schiavo in Internet Sales took my call, set me up with an appointment, and called me the day of to remind me, even move my appointment up as I had time sooner than expected. When I arrived, from the moment I walked in, all of the staff were professional and courteous. I was impressed by the condition of the showroom and amenities of the customer lounge! Shaker Ford does a superb job at making you feel comfortable there, should there be any reason for you to have to wait. But wait I did not... James Schiavo promptly found me and ultimately set me up with James Cianciolo in Sales, who handled my business very professionally. Mr. Cianciolo was excited to show me the Explorer Sport Trac and happy to share his knowledge about the car as I took a first look and did a pre-trip inspection. The vehicle was clean from top-to-bottom, inside and out, running smooth and quietly, telling me that Shaker takes pride in the vehicles they sell, especially the Ford brand. When I got out on the road, Mr. Cianciolo answered all of my questions without hesitation and made the test drive enjoyable. I raised concern that the brake pedal felt a little on the soft side, but he assured me that Shaker Ford holds their cars to a higher standard than required by the State - that Shaker will not sell a vehicle with less than 50% of the brakes left. With this in mind, I felt very comfortable with my Sport Trac on the test drive and after taking it home. Back at the dealership, Mr. Cianciolo worked efficiently to process my paperwork. He took into consideration that I was in the area helping a friend and he wanted to see to it that, as long as I got financing, I could walk out of the dealership that night with the vehicle in order to avoid any inconvenience that a trip home and back would cost me. He then referred me to Cindy Bugbee in Finance, who was efficient in processing my credit application. So efficient in fact, that when I returned to my friend's house in Wolcott, my application was approved and I had to come right back! And by the time I had returned, the vehicle had been through emissions and washed! I completed my paperwork and left the lot in my 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac no more than five hours after my test drive. Overall, I was impressed with Shaker Ford. I wasn't the only one; the friend I was helping is also interested in doing business with Shaker Ford in the near future, based on their reputation and on the short time he was at the dealership, helping me pick up my vehicle. The team wants to make sure that making an investment is easy, fun, and safe, as evidenced by the enthusiasm that everyone approaches this process with. At no point did I feel pressured, and it was apparent that the customer is the number one focus. It shows that this is a team of folks who are happy to come to work! Many Thanks! I Went there and found him to be busy at the time. Ed Shaker came out and took me for a test drive. I fell in love with the truck and now I own it. James Cianciolo and Manny Pinho went over all of the options and prices. I was able to drop $6000 off of MSRP and couldn't feel better about my experience. This isn't the first time at Shakers Ford either. I bought and just traded in a 2011 Ford Ranger. Had the same experience that time also! More
