We live in Wethersfield so making the drive out to Shaker Ford to see a vehicle was not a slam dunk for me when considering how a dealer could support my purchase but I glad I did. Sal was outstanding! Very informative and accommodating. He is forthcoming, honest and as all salespeople should be low pressure letting the product and his service do the talking. His partner Manny who provided an easy to understand picture of the fiancé picture for our purchase is also top shelf. I don't purchase vehicles every day but I do know outstanding service. Sal and Manny are top shelf! Even if your not thinking of a Ford, which I must say has been a great choice for us. Shaker Ford is a dealer that others should look to when considering how to improve their customer service. Way to go guys! We went on a test ride with the Lincoln MKX, and Jeff gave me a clear rundown of the specs of the car, while not skipping a beat to make connections to my Ford Edge and making sure to answer my questions along the way. I never felt pushed or forced to make a decision. On delivery day, Jim and Jeff was there with a smile ready to help make the switch simple. While I sat with Cindy, who was awesome and clear with what papers I needed to sign, Jeff had a few employees transfer both my 3 yo's car seat and my 6 week old's car seat. WOAH! I checked the seats for safety, and I'm extremely impressed with the security of the seats. I could not have done a better job myself! Jeff sat with me in the car and set up my phone and the key less entry, then he showed me how to use the phone, the radio, we perused the settings, the navigation. I drove away having a confident feeling of how to use the options in the car. Jeff encouraged me to call him with any questions I may have in the future. What an awesome experience! Thanks everyone! Thankfully there was no injuries, in fact the driver was well enough to run from the scene (on foot) - he left his damaged car and all his information behind and it turns out he was not insured. Needless to say I was in desperate need of another vehicle and returned to Shakers without any thought of going any place else. The service I received five weeks ago was exceeded with my new purchase. I went with a lease and it was an amazing deal and a brand new car! I am so pleased with the vehicle, the price and the speed with both Cathy Reed (sales) and Cindy Bugbee (finance) - (I apologize if I spell her name incorrectly). I went in at 9:00am, looked at and test drove four vehicles and was out by 2:00pm with the excellent tutelage of both ladies on my obligations to the finance company and on all the new bells and whistles of my new Fusion. The owner loyalty program is also an amazing perk! I look forward to future maintenance appointments and know I will receive the best service by mechanics who know my car, all at a price that is beyond affordable.
