Flew over from Kaua`i and was not disappointed I was on Oahu for work and stopped by here to buy some parts for our Toyota forklift. While walking out I saw that the 2017 Tacomas were being offered I was on Oahu for work and stopped by here to buy some parts for our Toyota forklift. While walking out I saw that the 2017 Tacomas were being offered @ 1.9% for 72 months. I decided to ask and I was politely told to sit tight and that a rep would be out to help me. Louie Mina introduced himself, and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He knew the difference between the different trims of the Tacoma and he showed me the prices for each trim level and the inventory that they had on hand, including colors. He even took me out to the lot to show me different option packages like the tonneau cover and moonroof. He knew the answer to every question I had and I found out that he was done working for the day, and he still stayed late to help me. This was on a Monday afternoon. I told him that my wife (the boss) was flying in on Wednesday and I would have to run it by her first. There was absolutely zero pressure to make the deal that day. No high pressure sales tactics, no rushing, absolutely ZERO pressure and obligation to buy that day. I really liked that about Louie. So I returned later in the week and I swear the deal was done within an hour of me walking in the door. . We had to hurry because my son and wife were sleeping in the rental car and the team at Servco Toyota Waipahu did not disappoint. Derek Nakasone had me out of the finance office in record time so I could resume my mini-vacation with my family. And again I would like to stress, that at no point during this whole process did I feel pressured or obligated to close the deal. We came up with a fair price to both sides, because we all know that Toyota Tacoma is like the official truck of the state of Hawaii and these trucks are in high demand. I didn't want to waste time negotiating back and forth so Louie gave me the price and that was it. Good for me and more importantly good for the boss (wife). I will return again, because the boss wants a 4Runner when they are redesigned, and it will be a great way to make an excuse to fly to Oahu again and see Louie and Derek at Servco Toyota Waipahu. More
