Paul, Gary and the whole Gearhart staff were incredibly friendly and knowledge. They were not typical salesman and didn't try to force me to buy nor did they rush me into making a decision. Paul is a gentleman salesman but it's the Sonic LTZ that I really like. Gearhart has true family feeling to it. When I wanted a new truck they answered all my questions found the truck i wanted, at the right price , and had the truck ready for pick up that night. I have been going to Gearhart's for 30 years this past week I had a repair done on my Equinox truck and it was done in a half day. I then returned the following week I dropped off the truck the night before, they had gotten the proper part, and by noon the next day my repair was finished, and they promtly called me. I have had 2 very disappointing issues with price. The first is that we had a door part quoted at over $535.00 and ended up going elsewhere for $70. The other instance was a remote key. They took the remote somewhere and came back saying it tested the device was bad. The quote to get a new one was over $125.00. I ended up putting a $3.97 battery in as a chance and it works perfectly. Very disappointing when you have dealt with them for over several years. More
I used the GM website to locate a 2011 Silverado with the exact features I wanted. They found the exact truck at Gearhart, a dealer 100 miles from my home. In the meantime, I spoke with several other local exact features I wanted. They found the exact truck at Gearhart, a dealer 100 miles from my home. In the meantime, I spoke with several other local dealers and got all sorts of pricing. Things got more complicated because I had both a GM discount, and another buyer program to work with. Keitha P. responded literally immediately and Dave Rose followed up within an hour. He was responsive, attentive, and best of all, very knowledgeable about the GM inncentive programs I was eligible for. He asked me to spell my last name, confirm my address, and he was immediately able to add an additional $1500 loyalty cash incentive. By the way, none of the other dealers I spoke with revealed the incentive. They had exactly the same info Mr. Rose did, and either gave back none of it, or offered me an additional "special discount" less than the incentive. It was very clear to me that Dave Rose was actually interested in helping me, and i gave him a refundable deposit to hold the truck. I drove the 100 miles the following Monday, got a very fair trade, absolutely no surprises, and drove back 100 miles with my new truck. I would be remiss not to mention how easy it was to work the final paperwork with Dammon V in the finance department. Again, absolutely no surprises and a genuine desire to make sure it was a pleasant experience. All in all, well worth the 200 miles round trip. More
We stopped in on a Monday afternoon. Bob Barran warmly greeted us as we walked through the showroom. When we asked Bob if we could test drive a 2012 Camaro, he got our particulars on what options we wante greeted us as we walked through the showroom. Within minutes, he had picked an available car from the lot that closely matched our "wish list" and we were off for a drive on both highway and Interstate. As Bob sat in the back seat, he explained all the features. I drove while my husband sat in the passenger seat. All the details worked so smoothly that by Wednesday we picked up the "loaded 2012 Camaro" car! I would highly recommend the Gearhart dealership and Bob Barran, the salesman to anyone interested in buying a Camaro. He was friendly and comfortable to work with and even called me the next morning to see if I liked my "new ride". (nice touch) :) More
When we first arrived we were greeted by Donna Mokis who had contacted me on my cellphone after I put in a request for a Chevrolet dealer to call me. She immediately put us onto Lou Bravo who managed to give us a great deal on our trade in AND made all the arrangements to have running boards and a tow hitch put on our new vehicle. Anytime we went there, we were treated with respect and they quickly took care of anything we requested. I don't remember Mary's last name but she works in Service and when I went to see her about getting the running boards put on and the tow hitch, I could not have asked for a more friendly person or a more knowledgeable person. I accidently left an article in my trade in vehicle and I asked her if it were possible to retrieve it for me. When I came in to get my Chevrolet Traverse, the item was in the car for me. This dealership had just gone through a terrible flood from Irene but you wouldn't know it. They had their act all together and they answered all our questions, showed all the vehicles we asked for and after going through all the flooding that they had they managed to pull off a great deal for us. We were very impressed and I will be bringing my vehicle up to them in the future for all servicing needs. I will and have already recommended this dealership to my friends.
