My husband and I had some very bad experiences previously when buying a car. After I had a 2012 Malibu as a rental car I fell in love with the car. The car was exactly what I was looking for. It was comfortable, which is very important to me with a bad back, the driver seat is electrically adjustable, the car looks nice and solid, great mileage, has On Star and Sirius XM. So I asked around at my job if anybody can recommend a good Chevyu dealership because I needed to buy a car. 4 people had previously bought cars from Gearhardt and told me thats the dealership to go to. So still suspicious we went there on a Saturday around noon time to see if they have a car we liked. As soona as we approached the dealership Lou Bravo gretted us and asked if he could help us. We explained to him that we were looking for a slightly used car and it had to be a Malibu. He should us three different cars and we very fast picked our car. We did a test drive, and then it was on to the most threated part the paperwork and financing. So we went out to have something to eat and when we came back there was Mark already waiting for us with the approval. We were extremely suprised how fast it went and about the excellent rate he got us. Signing the paperwork was a fun hour. Lou was a very experienced and professional salesman and I would recommend him to anybody. However, Mark was the pleasure part of the whole experience. He is extremely knowledgable, professional but also fun to be with and get through a kind of boring hour - who wants to sign papers for an hour. A week after I bought the car I had a problem with the car - it was hestiating. They gave me an appointment fixd the problem for free and take care of some other small things, like the second remote was not working, the car manual was from the previous year, the car fax needed to be fixed. Everything was taken care of professionally and quickly. I was very pleased with the service. However, there is one thing which has nothing to do with the dealership but with Chevy. I was quite upset when the next morning I went into the car and found out that the passenger headlight was out. So my husband went and bought a headlight intending to change it this weekend. What a surprise to find out that we are talking about a major job to change a headlight. You actually have to take the bumper down and all kind of other stuff - a job that easily would cost about $300.00. With daylight running lights that it ridicolous. Why would you make a maintenance item so difficult to change. I have never seen something like that and I must say that did sour me on the car quite a bit. I still love to drive my Chevy but I feel sorry for my husband who has to spent 3 - 4 hours in the garage on the weekend to change one simple light bulb. Shame on you Chevy that you are trying to milk the customers like that. Just to reiterate, this of course is no reflection on the dealership which is excellent. We will go back to buy another car from them in the future - just research the car a bit more. I was not aware you have to check like changing a light bulb. Well one never stops learning. Took my 94 Camaro to the body shop not to long ago and I was very impressed with the work they did, I was highly recommended to this body shop by my insurance provider. I was also told upon arrival that this body shop does take all major insurance companies for my convience. The damage on my vehicle was pretty bad, I thought I would have to replace my hood, side panels, and front bumper but their work was So surprising that they were able to save most of the panels repair them and save me some money in the mean time! Wanted to thank the team at Gearhart for there great work and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done on there vehicle! Thanks Again Gearhart Chevy! More

Compared to my experiences at several other dealerships, my experience at Gearhart Chevrolet was outstanding. They were willing to work with me on price so that was manageable and they let me take the time my experience at Gearhart Chevrolet was outstanding. Upon our first call to Gearhart i spoke with Mr. Garcia who was very friendly and eager to help and direct us through the very first steps of the process and recommend and direct us to the appropriate people. He also followed up with an e-mail and a phone call to us while we were in between solidifying the appropriate channels to begin the process. After having additional phone conversations with Ken and Judy Tilton, they quickly previewed one of their cars in their inventory for us based on our needs, financial budget and aesthetic taste, pulled it from their lot, had it cleaned up and waiting for us in the front of their dealership before we even got there. In addition, Mr. Burns showed us other vehicles as not to rule out other possible options while considering our purchase. We eventually decided on the pre-owned 2012 black LT Surburban that was initially considered for us...after out test drive and after seeing all the wonderful interior features we were sold!! The approval stage and trade process of our vehicle went very smoothly and since it was processed so efficiently and quickly we were able to wait at the dealership rather than go home and return, therefore allowing us to drive off the lot that afternoon with our new purchase. Mr.Ken Tilton who is energetic and very approachable, was also very pro-active and showed a genuine interest in our purchase, and although the showroom was bustling with many customers in which he also showed interest in, as well as being busy with other tasks, he still took time to ask us questions about our needs, gave us good and honest advice about how to go about the purchasing process and what would be in our best interest. He clearly shows a very personable and professional desire to be involved with ALL aspects of being a dealership owner/executive other than just sitting in an office. His presence on the showroom floor was humbling and appreciated. We could not of been happier with Mr. Dennis Burns and his area of expertise when it comes to knowing literally "everything" there is to know about the product he is selling and the time he took in sitting in our "new" car and describing everything that we needed to know in how to operate, maintain and run our vehicle. He is truly a walking- talking owners vehicle "Manual" when it comes to his quick-thinking knowledge of the "how to's" and the "why's" of the working parts of the product he is selling. We observed first hand that he not only knows this product inside and out, but he truly believes and stands behind the safety and name of this "American" made product!! Mr. Weber was also extremely helpful and works at lightning speed to make the final "paper work" process painless and completely understandable and he is clearly another professional aspect of the Gearhart establishment. Friendliness and personable employees are in obvious abundance at this business! After finalizing the purchase, another quick detailed wash of our car was made, a full tank of gas was given and FREE oil changes AND car washes for the life of the car...yes FREE... was reiterated to us again as a reminder by Ken and Judy Tilton. If that alone doesn't make someone want to purchase a vehicle here i don't know what is !! The family feeling one gets is very real and comforting and i say that even more so after being walked to our vehicle by the Tilton's as they were discussing their own grandchildren, children and the family vacations they all take in their very own Chevrolet vehicles that were also parked in the lot !! Our overall opinion is that this is a warm "family" friendly atmosphere and everyone does their part to ensure a smooth running, successful business. We feel very confident that THIS car will also last at least 10 years as did our last Chevy Suburban and give us the safe and comfortable experience we love... and when we are ready to replace this car you can bet we will be back here to make yet another purchase!!
