I would not hesitate to recommend Dennis Burns to friends and family looking to purchase a car. I did not initially intend on purchasing a Chevrolet but his knowledge and experience gained my trust that this and family looking to purchase a car. Dennis was extremely kind and took his time to answer all my questions and concerns. I visited Gearhart many times while deciding on the car, and he never rushed me for a decision. In addition, he was available on his day off, having come into work for another customer. During that time, Dennis knew I was waiting for service and he made sure that I was not waiting unattended. When I picked up the Malibu, he again sat with me in the car to go over each and every component of the vehicle so I would be comfortable driving it. Dennis is definitely the reason I felt I was making the right decision in purchasing my car since I felt strongly about another brand. Dennis Burns is an asset to Gearhart, he is dedicated to making sure his customers are pleased with their relationship with this dealer. I would also like to compliment Marc Weber for his professionalism and courtesy during the financial aspect of my purchase. Tracy O'Neill helped guide me in the right direction when I first came to Gearhart and later in a subsequent phone call. Finally, it was a pleasure to speak with Judy Tilton who made sure all my needs were taken care off and with her knowledge of Chevrolet vehicles. First, Gary was instrumental in turning me into a Chevy customer. When my Saturn Vue had a problem, he found the solution. And, he was honest and forthcoming about my options. When my son told me he wanted to buy me a new car (my Vue had over 160,000 miles on it), I immediately went to Gearhart. Dennis was very knowledgeable about the Chevy products and he was able to help me pick out the perfect car for my lifestyle and job requirements. He also helped me work out the details re: financing in a dollar amount that I could put into my limited budget. Most importantly, he was able to get me a Spark in the color I wanted -- titanium pink! Awesome! I have had my Spark for a week and LOVE it! It handles extremely well in bad weather, is easy to handle and I am averaging 37 mpg (which is incredible when you realize how much traffic I get caught in on a daily basis). Gearhart Chevy Rocks! My husband and I had some very bad experiences previously when buying a car. After I had a 2012 Malibu as a rental car I fell in love with the car. The car was exactly what I was looking for. It was comfortable, which is very important to me with a bad back, the driver seat is electrically adjustable, the car looks nice and solid, great mileage, has On Star and Sirius XM. So I asked around at my job if anybody can recommend a good Chevyu dealership because I needed to buy a car. 4 people had previously bought cars from Gearhardt and told me thats the dealership to go to. So still suspicious we went there on a Saturday around noon time to see if they have a car we liked. As soona as we approached the dealership Lou Bravo gretted us and asked if he could help us. We explained to him that we were looking for a slightly used car and it had to be a Malibu. He should us three different cars and we very fast picked our car. We did a test drive, and then it was on to the most threated part the paperwork and financing. So we went out to have something to eat and when we came back there was Mark already waiting for us with the approval. We were extremely suprised how fast it went and about the excellent rate he got us. Signing the paperwork was a fun hour. Lou was a very experienced and professional salesman and I would recommend him to anybody. However, Mark was the pleasure part of the whole experience. He is extremely knowledgable, professional but also fun to be with and get through a kind of boring hour - who wants to sign papers for an hour. A week after I bought the car I had a problem with the car - it was hestiating. They gave me an appointment fixd the problem for free and take care of some other small things, like the second remote was not working, the car manual was from the previous year, the car fax needed to be fixed. Everything was taken care of professionally and quickly. I was very pleased with the service. However, there is one thing which has nothing to do with the dealership but with Chevy. I was quite upset when the next morning I went into the car and found out that the passenger headlight was out. So my husband went and bought a headlight intending to change it this weekend. What a surprise to find out that we are talking about a major job to change a headlight. You actually have to take the bumper down and all kind of other stuff - a job that easily would cost about $300.00. With daylight running lights that it ridicolous. Why would you make a maintenance item so difficult to change. I have never seen something like that and I must say that did sour me on the car quite a bit. I still love to drive my Chevy but I feel sorry for my husband who has to spent 3 - 4 hours in the garage on the weekend to change one simple light bulb. Shame on you Chevy that you are trying to milk the customers like that. Just to reiterate, this of course is no reflection on the dealership which is excellent. We will go back to buy another car from them in the future - just research the car a bit more. I was not aware you have to check like changing a light bulb. Well one never stops learning.
