The atmosphere gave a person the feeling that employees were here to help. Mike Pryor, the salesman, was cheerful and very enthusiastic about his product. He did a complete job of describing the features and options of the Outback I was looking for. He did a nice job of assisting in selection of the specific car that met my needs and taste. He did a good job of explaining the price offered. Finance man Jim Taylor came into Mikes office and was sincere, pleasant and effective explaining that part of the transaction. When my wife and I took delivery, Mike Pryor continued his explanations clearly. He showed us around the dealership and introduced us to the Sales Manager, Service Manager, and Owner of the Dealership. All these people were friendly and cordial. He reviewed the special services offered by this dealership. He has a high level of enthusiasm for his employer and for his product. Very impressive. The finance man, Jim Taylor, did an excellent job with insurance and financing issues. We left with our new Subaru that day feeling good. I have already given Mike Pryors name and phone number to a friend. More
We visted this dealer on Friday evening 12/16/11 to look at two SUV's that we saw online when Ed Westfahl came out we told him what we were looking for and he showed them to us explained both vehicles to us at two SUV's that we saw online when Ed Westfahl came out we told him what we were looking for and he showed them to us explained both vehicles to us. We explained to him that beginning two women I and my Mother In Law were just looking to see is we liked them and that if we did her son would come back with us on the 17th of December he understood and was not pushey at all like some sales people are. We returned on Sat. December 17 2011 to test drive the vehicle went for a short test drive came back and bought it. Ed was great he remember are names and everyting what a great salesman. When it come time to look for another vehicle I will diffenely go back. Also James in the finance department was also very friendly and helpful. Great Job we'll be back when it's time to find another vehicle. More
This was my first car-buying experience. Mike was very friendly and helped me through every step of the process, while not being pushy at all. I learned a lot throughout, and ended up with a vehicle that friendly and helped me through every step of the process, while not being pushy at all. I learned a lot throughout, and ended up with a vehicle that I really love for a great price. He was very helpful in determining which trim and color would be right for me, and then tracking down a vehicle that was perfect. I did feel that the finance manager was a bit salesman-y, and pushed pretty hard, but not to an extent that was a major issue. I would certainly return to Subaru City in the future, and recommend this dealer to friends. More
Mr. Wrathall was one of the most professional and efficient car dealer I have ever worked with. This is saying alot because I have bought between 20 and 25 new cars. I also used to be in the service efficient car dealer I have ever worked with. This is saying alot because I have bought between 20 and 25 new cars. I also used to be in the service industry and I pay attention to the little things. It may not have been important to most people but when Mr. Wrathall said "Can I get you a cup of coffee?", I knew he pays attention to detail. Sincerely, Robert A. Knoop More
If I had to describe Subaru City service, I'd use a short phrase: Incompetent with a lack of customer service. I've have multiple visits with this service department for my 2 Subarus. My wife and I have o phrase: Incompetent with a lack of customer service. I've have multiple visits with this service department for my 2 Subarus. My wife and I have owned 6 Subarus in our lives: A 1980 hatch back, 2002 WRX, 2003 Forrester, 2005 Forrester, 2007 Legacy, 2010 WRX. My wife had a Forrester that needed scheduled maintenance. While we think Sommer's Subaru is far superior on knowledge and customer service, we live on the South side of Milwaukee, so Subaru City is much more convenient. How difficult can routine maintenance be? Well, when doing the radiator flush, the technician either didn't properly bleed the air out of the radiator or didn't properly fill it. It overheated (who knows how long my wife drove with it overheating). We took it back and they apologized. I asked how we can be sure that no damage was done, they didn't have an answer. Within weeks, the forrester started to burn and leak oil. We felt like we could do nothing about it; If we bring it back and complain, they could deny it, and we were worried about the car's resale value if there was this note on its record. In a few months, we sold the car because we could no longer trust it. We didn't feel we could buy another Subaru because of the lack of a good service department nearby. When I leased my WRX (from Sommer's), I purchased the Subaru maintenance plan, which effectively pre-pays for the scheduled maintenance. I've had this car in to Subaru City 2 other times for service on the maintenance plan, so it should be in the computer (not to mention it is a Subaru program). I brought the WRX in for a standard 15000 mile service to Subaru City. When scheduling the appointment, I told the person about the program. When dropping off the car (overnight drop off), I wrote on the slip that it was under the program. When I picked up the car, the cashier knew nothing about the program and service was closed. Even though I had the plan paperwork, she made me pay and said she was working the next morning and she'd take care of it, and have them call me and reverse the charge. I didn't receive a call so I called the next afternoon. Service was again closed. If I don't hear from them Monday, I will dispute the charge. Long story short... I already don't buy vehicles from Subaru City due to their service department. Now I feel I have to drive 20 miles out of my way for even the simplest service. This will be the last Subaru that I own or lease. It's not worth the bother. More
I have had so few good experiences at car dealerships and these two sales consultants helped to make this experience one of the best I have ever had. I did not feel any pressure to buy that I have experienc these two sales consultants helped to make this experience one of the best I have ever had. I did not feel any pressure to buy that I have experienced before. I looked at a one owner trade-in with no hassle from any of the sales consultants. After a while Ed and I talked and he worked up some numbers that were in the range we were looking for. I decided to compare it to a new 2011 with basic accessories to see what the difference in cost would be, there was no pressure if the sale went to the new car department. We had a internet quote from Michael and there was no attempt to change that quote. It turned out to be roughly a $1500 difference so we bought it even though it was actually a 2012 model. As for the trust of a posted review, I would trust a posted review but would wonder what the un-posted ones might have said. More

Kyle was helpful, honest, and didn't try to alter the deal we agreed to by phone. He went out of his way to make the buyer comfortable with this new purchase.I would highly recommed Kyle and this dealers deal we agreed to by phone. About 1 year ago, when I was initially searching for a car, I went to Subaru City and worked briefly with Linda Czaplewski. I was about 8 months pregnant and we needed a 4-door car to bring the baby home car, I went to Subaru City and worked briefly with Linda Czaplewski. I was about 8 months pregnant and we needed a 4-door car to bring the baby home in. Linda never pressured me and gave me lots of useful information. My fiance's dad then decided to sell us his TL for cheap and I couldn't pass up the opportunity, so I did not end up purchasing a car from Linda at that time. Linda called me about 1 month later simply to see if Eleanor had been born and to see how we were. She didn't mention car shopping or anything business related in the conversation. She followed up again just after Ellie's 1st birthday to wish her a happy birthday and to check in. I was glad to say that at this point I had a full time teaching position and was definitely in the market for a second family car. Subaru City, Dodge City, and Honda City are all interconnected dealerships and Linda said she could pull stock from all 3 which was very encouraging. I was specifically searching for a Honda CR-V for kid hauling. She quickly found me a great '09 CR-V which I was surprised I could comfortably afford. This was due to Subaru City's extremely fair pricing and Linda going above and beyond to negotiate a price in my range. I honestly felt like I was car shopping with my own mom. You can tell that Linda is both a mom and previously was a nurse. She has a kindness and sensibility that makes buying from her a very relaxing experience. She cares about her customers, even someone like me who couldn't necessarily give her the "big sale." I'm confident she'll work hard for you, whether you're looking to spend $5,000 or $50,000. I'd recommend Subaru City to anyone searching for a quality vehicle. The free car washes on Saturday are fun too :) Thanks Linda, I hope to buy from you in the future! Danielle B. More
