Senior abuse alarm! Mistrust these guys, totally scammed our 90-yr old parents. Charged them $2500 for service, gave them $6000 for the car and then sold for $19000. Never have I ever had a more enjoyable car buying experience. I know it sounds farfetched. I did not expect to like my Car Sales man, but Travis Morales at Sarasota Toyota really went above and beyon experience. I know it sounds farfetched. I did not expect to like my Car Sales man, but Travis Morales at Sarasota Toyota really went above and beyond with us. He was fair and kind. He was knowledgeable of the car and trim we wanted, and what he did not know he did not BS his way around it. He said he would research it and get back to us, and guess what? HE DID. He was never pushy. Travis must have spent a good hour just teaching us how things worked on the car, all the bells and whistles and made us feel comfortable through the whole process. During the financing part of the process with Lon; whom was fantastic as well, we had more question and Travis came back to answered more questions gladly. Not one grunt or frustrated reply, just understanding, even after buying the car, days after. He was there for us. After visiting multiple dealerships on the Florida East Coast unable to find what we wanted, we found it at Sarasota Toyota. We did most of the negotiations over the phone and they honored every single one of them once we got there the next day. Yes, the next day. We traveled 186 miles to get our car and don't regret a thing. Thank you, Travis, John the Sales Manager and Lon the finance guy, for treating us with respect and not trying to swindle us. Also, I wanted to provide some feedback on your salesperson - Jimmy Mazzola - and our experience at the dealership. He was, in no small part, why the RAV 4 was ruled out very quickly in our decision on what to purchase despite me having - and liking - a 13 year old RAV that I still own. Another salesperson at a different dealership had said to ask for Mike when we arrived at your location. We arrived at 3:15 for our appointment and was greeted at the door by Jimmy, who was not wearing any protection even though the sign on your door asked for customers to wear masks. He said you were not available, so I asked for Mike. Jimmy ignored us and led us to a table where he got my information to look up what we had discussed via email. He then brought out a RAV 4 that wasn't even one of the trims we were looking for (actually it was a lower trim than what we were looking for). He then proceeded ignore my wife and spoke only to me until I finally pointed out to him that she was going to be the primary driver of the car. Again, no mask and no social distancing. He wasn't able to articulate anything about the vehicle, instead having to repeatedly refer to the sticker. I was stunned when he said at least twice that "they (vehicles) all have features" when trying to say something about the RAV 4. I had to pointedly ask him to put on a mask before taking a test drive - in this day and age, having to ask a professional salesperson to do this before getting into the small confines of a car is a pretty stunning oversight. After we returned, we then had to pointedly ask to see one of the more upscale trims we were looking at. We did review that but by the time we got to that point neither of us were really very interested in continuing to look at a Toyota with Mr. Mazzola. Monica, normally I wouldn't say anything but this was a particularly poor experience. You and your management need to know that a salesperson who ignores my asking for a particular other salesperson, who ignores the lady who is ultimately deciding on the vehicle, who doesn't seem to have much of an understanding of their product and (worst of all) puts your customer's health at risk by not distancing and not masking up is not a good reflection upon your business. This experience, in large part, is why we chose not to continue our business relationship with Toyota despite having had 3 Toyota vehicles in the last 15 years (RAV 4, Camry and a 2008 Toyota Solara). I visited 6 dealers in Florida and was cheated everywhere. Mark Cassel at Toyota Sarasota was the only one that treated me fair. I got what Marc promised me. I got my Toyota Corolla 2020 for the price he promised and it was a great deal. There were no haggles, he did not run between desk and boss to bring me new prices that never were discussed and were $500 more than outdoor prices promised like it was at the other 6 dealerships ! It was my pleasure to buy a car there. The next day I had some questions. What would a normal salesman do after the deal is done? He would forget you. Not Mark! He continued to answer all my questions that I forgot to ask when I had bought the car. More

Had a wonderful experience at Toyota South in Sarasota,Fl.Our salesman,Marc Kassel got us in new Toyota Crolla.I was doubtful that it would happen.I have had unpleasant experiences at other deale Sarasota,Fl.Our salesman,Marc Kassel got us in new Toyota Crolla.I was doubtful that it would happen.I have had unpleasant experiences at other dealerships.Marc made it happen. Management in ALL departments incompetent & will deviate from providing resolutions when complaints are addressed that would cost them money to repair something on their end. You will NEVER get the same pe from providing resolutions when complaints are addressed that would cost them money to repair something on their end. You will NEVER get the same person to help you with your complaint even when they tell you what days they'll be there next to follow up and GM will NEVER be "available" when told to visit him in person regarding your unsatisfaction of vehicle purchase and experience. Sales will bring you a sales associate from another department to pass off, delaying the process requiring you to re-address your initial complaint from the beginning. 0 followup, 0 customer service, 0 service repair experience (your vehicle will go in and get something completely opposite done to it or not touched at all providing you with no detailed paperwork and in worse condition). Underlining issues with vehicle are not disclosed at time of sale and once keys are in your hand they tell you "you got an amazing deal" expecting you fix on your own even when multiple associates say they will fix it and make it right. Save your time and the headache, Go elsewhere. Only good experience was our sales advisor, yet she has not been on the floor since we told management about our vehicle safety complaints. More

Advertised price was THOUSANDS below what they actually tried to sell the car for. They cited several charges including $1199 for their average cost for reconditioning the vehicle, which was used. It was extremely clean, but would have needed tires in the very near future. Once they added all their fees the cost was $4000 over the advertised price on Cars.com and similar platforms. Total bait and switch practice. I did not buy from them, and I can't imagine I ever would. There are plenty of dealers out there who treat customers better. Go to one of them. More
