During my on-line search for a Toyota, I found a car by VIN that seemed like a good deal and met my preferences. That particular car by VIN showed up in the Toyota.com inventory website and in the Sarasot VIN that seemed like a good deal and met my preferences. That particular car by VIN showed up in the Toyota.com inventory website and in the Sarasota Toyota inventory website. I reached out to Sarasota Toyota (I am in West Palm Beach, Fl). More than once assured by Rob that the vehicle, by VIN, was available even though the vehicle disappeared from both Toyota.com's and Sarasota's website inventory within an hour after my first contact. (I had learned to be a skeptic). Rob lied and said that sometimes it takes a while for a vehicle listed in the Toyota.com website to reach their website. Yikes, Rob, I already saw that VIN in the Sarasota Toyota website. In fact, I have a screen shot proving that. I asked Rob for a "proof of life" before I drove 150+ miles to see the vehicle, ready to buy with cash. Late in that day, Rob assured me I would receive a "proof of life" before I left the next day to go to his dealership to see the VIN. HE DID NOT. An obvious indicator of a "bait and switch" tactic. So mad, not sorry, Sarasota Toyota. Two days later, I bought a Toyota from Ed Morse Delray Toyota in Delray Beach, FL. I could not be happier. They honored their on-line, best out-of-door quote for my desired VIN with honesty, transparency, and respect, all of which are sorely lacking by Sarasota Toyota. Too bad Sarasota Toyota, you missed out on a no-hassle cash deal and gained multiple negative reviews by me. Rob, are you proud of where you work? More

I made the mistake of buying a 2023 Tundra new from this dealership and have had nothing but problems including repeated faulty parts. First complaint is the hard selling auto glass contractor who is your first contact. They walk the vehicle telling you about how bad your windshield is and how they can change it free of charge. Insurance will pay, yada, yada, yada…..no thanks. my “chips” were actually tree sap that came off with a good scrub. The poor older woman they managed to pressure sat in an open area giving personal info over the phone to her insurance as their salesman sat by . At the very least do it on a private area!! Second, my service rep NEVER even introduced himself to me or sign me in. my truck was taken away, A coworker took my coupon for service and that was it! I never signed for any work, was never spoken to at all. Next warning sign. The usually packed service waiting area has 5 people, including me, waiting for service. At 7:30 am this was unheard of when the previous owner had this dealership. Something is off here and I should have asked for the truck back and left. Another warning should have been the constant “ please confirm your appointment “ emails and texts when I never set one up! I have had to tell them no less than three times I didn’t make an appointment. I am here now only because of a routine scheduled maintenance light. And of course they find multiple issues on 2 year old car…time to move to another mechanic. And most frustrating is watching this windshield scam over and over again. More

No surprise fees and the car was in excellent shape, beautifully detailed and filled with gas. Both the salesperson and the finance manager made it a super easy and pleasant experience. Super easy and straightforward from start to finish. Drove almost 2 hours each way for this vehicle and it was totally worth it. Highly recommend these guys at Sarasota Toyota!!! More
I visited 2 dealerships. This one was honest, upfront, the sticker price wasn't jacked up like at the other one. My salesman was Jonny. I talked with him when I stopped in to see what they had. That night I put an inquiry in online with Jonny's name in the notes stating that I had talked with him. The next day Marc called me and said he was taking over the transaction. I said I was working with Jonny. He tried his best to swipe the deal out from under Jonny but the good won out. Marc was taken off the sale. Jonny was 100% accommodating, it took a while to secure a Sienna because there are so few on the ground and they sell so fast but the next day we signed then on day 3 Jonny delivered it to my door. What a great salesman to work with! More
