I had my car towed in on May 31st because my engine died apparently! The dealership and my Fidelity insurance were going back and fourth for a month and a half before my insurance finally said they’d cover apparently! From my knowledge I needed a new engine, timing belt, spark plugs, a battery and some other crap at this point I’ve forgotten. My car was finally ready for pickup on Friday 7/22. They said the engine was running great and they did a test drive and everything looks great. So I go pick my car up on Monday 7/25 and about 3 mins in driving it I notice my car is extremely loud and there’s a knocking sound. I immediately text the service center to let them know. They tell me to drive it for this week and bring it back in on Monday 8/1 which I plan to. BUT today only two days after driving it from picking it up from the dealership WHY IS MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON!!!!!!!!!! What in the world. I only drive it to work and back the past two days and my job is only 6 mins away!!!!!! What kind of engine did Fidelity send them for one and two what kind of repairing my car did the service center do!!!!!!! I have a million and one questions!!!! I’ve been without a car for almost 2 months and out of work because of it and when I finally get it back the check engine light is ON! How. So I have questions about this used engine they sent the dealership to be put in my car and I have questions for the service center! Someone needs to explain what when wrong or what is wrong to me ASAP!!!!!! I’m supposed to bring it back in on 8/1 anyways but snow I’m scared to drive it the 45 mins it will take me to get there to bring it to them with that check engine light on. I cannot afford to pay for a tow truck. So I’m one disappointed customer!!!!! More
