My quote multiplied when they saw a young girl - before they even looked at my car. A kind woman over the phone told me the inspection would be complimentary after it survived the wildfires. She was so helpful and kind. When I arrived, I was passed off to CHRIS who did not treat me with the same respect. Never greeted me or looked me in the eyes, just continued chit chatting across the office w with another employee while pulling up my file. Then, before seeing my car…. he just handed me a paper to sign, stating that the inspection was actually going to be $300 (???) and he quoted me around $500 for my filter to be changed. Over the phone, I was quoted $300. I told him that the woman on the phone said the inspection is complimentary??? He pushed back, like I didn’t know what I was talking about, until he grabbed his phone and told someone SUSAN said it’s free !!!!! Who’s Susan?!?! She must be the nice woman who tried to help me. He spoke about her with such disrespect, in the same way I felt that he treated me. Then to make matters worse, he offered to call an Uber for me, and charged me $15 for it. LOL. Pathetic service. More
