I got a phone solicitation to bring my car in for service. I was offered a free tire alignment and complimentary Uber ride to my office if I would make an appt., so I did. I wouldn't have made the s service. I was offered a free tire alignment and complimentary Uber ride to my office if I would make an appt., so I did. I wouldn't have made the service appt but for the representation. The service rep didn't know anything about the promotion I was offered, but after I visited with a person behind another window, who then had to speak with the service rep and convince him such a thing must have been offered to me, the service rep finished the paperwork and sent me over to a desk, behind which, a person offered to hook me up with Uber but requested a $15 fee. Not wishing to repeat the promotion litany, I walked out and ordered my own Uber. Please don't call me if the staff doesn't know what you are offering. You owe me an Uber ride. More

hopefully a fluke, one off experience, as my previous experiences at bmw sm have been tip top, but this recent service appt was really shoddy. surprisingly so. i dropped my car off monday at noon, per m experiences at bmw sm have been tip top, but this recent service appt was really shoddy. surprisingly so. i dropped my car off monday at noon, per my appointment, and received a text that my car would be ready around 530p and that they'd text me to confirm. cut to 6p, 630p, 7p, no call no text. and no reply to my calls or texts. so i have no car monday night and had to uber to my dinner plans. all fine. cut to tues am i call and text around 730a, nada. so i decide to head to the dealership thinking surely my car is finished. i uber to dealer and find out that my car is not yet ready and the tech working on it won't be in for another hour. i was directed to the service foreman who was super understanding and helpful. i didn't catch his name but he was great. he got a tech to jump on my car and they finished it 2 hours later. thankfully i had my computer with me and was able to work from the dealership lounge. that said, i was meant to hit the road for vacation at noon on tues and given this delay, our departure was pushed back to 230p and battling the traffic that comes with that. so, all in all, i found the foreman guy great and the other service advisors were friendly too, they were just busy with their other clients and seemed confused to what was going on with my car. perhaps my service advisor was ill or something came up? whatever the case, crisis averted and i'll def be back to sm bmw, but would be remiss not to share this feedback. More
