On of the Worst Dealerships These folks have to be one of the worst dealerships I have ever dealt with. My advice would be to buy your vehicle somewhere else. They never follow These folks have to be one of the worst dealerships I have ever dealt with. My advice would be to buy your vehicle somewhere else. They never follow up whether it is the sales manager Adam Sahyouni or Nicole Elghanian Finance Director. They never return phone calls or e mails. Big promises when you buy but complete lack of follow up. They really don't represent the BMW brand well. More

I picked my car back up that night, and it wasn't until the next morning that I realized by sunglasses had been stolen out of the glove compartment. I immediately reached out to my service representative who then said I'd need to "take up my complaint" with his manager, Jeffrey. I contacted and left Jeffrey a voicemail. While he did return my call later that day to tell me he'd look into it, it has now been 2 weeks (and 4 unanswered calls) with radio-silence on their end. While I'm upset about losing a pair of sunglasses, I'm irate at the unprofessionalism in which they have handled the situation. On so many levels, this is the worst dealer service department I've ever had to deal with. Next time I'll know to make the effort to take my car elsewhere. More

I took my BMW in to because there was a small amount water leaking into the car via the sunroof. This is a common problem with BMWs (google bmw sunroof lawsuit) The reason for the leak was the water drain for the sunroof had become clogged. The standard procedure for unclogging the drain is to blow air thru the drain hole. BMW of Santa Monica informed me that they did blow air thru the drain hole, but could not unclog the drain. They said that I would need to pay $800+ dollars to have the sunroof removed/reinstalled to fix the problem. I refused to have them do this service. Since the car left Santa Monica BMW, MUCH more water leaks into the car every time it rains. Realizing that an attempt to unclog a drain makes the clogged drain problem worse DEFIES LOGIC, I took the car to another BMW specialist. They told me the problem was now worse because the hose that attaches to the drain hole at the top (and runs the water to a little nipple at the bottom of the car) had become detached at the top, near the sunroof drain. As a result, the vehicle was now flooding, instead of becoming just moist, every time it rained. In other words: Santa Monica BMW followed the recommended procedure to unclog a sunroof drain, which resulted in the drain hose becoming unattached. They LIED to me: it wasn't that they couldn't unclog the drain - it was the hose became unattached during their attempt to unclog the drain. Now they want to charge me for the repair. I will never bring my car into Santa Monica BMW again. More

Air bag recall Took a while to get the airbag in and communications could have been better. However, once in, it was easy in and out and they washed the car! Dishonest and way overpriced $450 for an oil change for a 2011 328 xdrive? Their own website lists an oil change and new filter at $79. Bill Evans, the SA, lied and claimed that I $450 for an oil change for a 2011 328 xdrive? Their own website lists an oil change and new filter at $79. Bill Evans, the SA, lied and claimed that I need to have a "scope" done anytime the car is serviced. This is not the case, and I explained that I didn't want the scope because it was already done 3k miles ago for the 60k service. He then refused to do any work on the car without doing the scope. I've always had my car serviced at BMW dealers and never had to pay more than $79 for an oil change and never had to have a scope every time I had a service. These guys are taking advantage of their customers and are pure xxxx More
