There are so many things wrong I'm not sure where to start. On a trip back from Florida I noticed that I was leaking air in my driver's side front tire. The car by the way is a new Nissan Rogue with start. On a trip back from Florida I noticed that I was leaking air in my driver's side front tire. The car by the way is a new Nissan Rogue with only 2000 miles. I took the car to a local Nissan dealer who at first said there was no leak. Upon more investigation it was found that the tire was in fact leaking. The leak was located in a part of the tire that could not be repaired therefore I had to buy a new tire. I should mention that I was never shown the location of the leak on the tire or the inside of the tire showing a possible manufacture defect. After buying a new tire I left the dealer and found that all the tire pressures on the car were incorrect. They should be 33 pounds front and 30 rear on a cold tire. They gave me the car with between 40 and 45 pounds in each tire. When I arrived home I proceeded to adjust the air pressure when I noticed that they replaced the tire with a different brand. They put on a Hancook tire when it should have been a Faulken tire to match the original tires. At no time was I informed of this tire switch or most importantly asked if it was OK to use a different brand on my new car. I immediately called the Dealer and spoke to the representative and he said he forgot to ask me if it would be OK to use a different tire brand. I told him absolutely not, and he said he would order the correct tire for me. When the tire arrived I brought the car in for the tire exchange. Again after the exchange when I left the dealer I noticed the tire pressure in all the tires was totally erratic. They should be 33 pounds front and 30 rear on a cold tire. They gave me the car with between 40 and 45 pounds in each tire. When I arrived home I proceeded to adjust the air pressure when I noticed that the new tire was smeared with tire sealant. So not only was the pressure incorrect but the tire mounting to the rim was extremely sloppy. After all of this I have zero trust in using this Dealer in the future. In fact I'm still not convinced that the original tire didn't have a manufacture defect. I'm left with the following questions; was this a ploy to sell me a new tire and where did the mechanic receive his training. More
